This impressive Victorian building is just 300 metres from Streatham Hill Railway Station, a 17-minute train ride from Victoria Station. It was once the home of Lord and Lady Leigham.

Good price for acomodation close train station and underground
Too many stairs no acess for disabled people...
Everything. Dirty pillows with stains on them. Sheets under cover severed in body hairs. Pubic hairs in shower room. Broken furniture and carpet. Absolute dive.
I was thankful that we weren't at the hotel for too long .
Room was in desperate need of decorating . Breakfast was a choice of toast with jam or egg and beans . No juice just squash no ketchup either . Won't be returning!
The location of hotel was good. Convenient.
Standard of hotel regarding facilities and cleanliness was fair. The breakfast was poor. I stayed 3 nights, each night I was moved from a single, to a double and then a twin room. I wanted a room for a week but they were more interested in ensuring online customers got their rooms first. On my 4th night, I returned to find my bags in reception and no room available despite ringing during that day to ask if there would be but constantly instructed to call back later. Very disappointed at the poor customer service.
not as advertised all rooms complete with full bathroom facilities. as we had requested a bath for my son with learning difficulties no rooms had baths but there were no plugs hand basins. totally unacceptable. .
clean room and bathroom
could not manage very steep stairs to the room where breakfast was served., so did not have any. The room was cramped, bedspreads very thin and curtains looked about ready to fall off . Has wheelchair ramp at front but is in no way suitable for a disabled person as my friend found out. she spent the night feeling cold and in a lot of pain.
Look, I only paid £55 so I didn't expect anything fancy or even good. My expectations were really low--and still, the place managed to disappoint. Rude, bored staff, absolutely filthy room, a door that could be opened with a child's push, an absolutely disgusting shower... £55 were a rip-off, I wouldn't stay again even if you paid me.
Building works going on throughout my stay. Walls being knocked down, dirt and dust everywhere. Bedroom was awful. Couldn't hang clothes up as cupboard and drawers nailed shut. Bathroom shower flooded floor. Taps loose and moving. Mouse/rat trap in bathroom. Windows dirty and window sill covered in cobwebs. Curtains mismatched. Kept me awake as room right above the neon light. Bin not emptied during my stay. Only had one teabag! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!
Woke up in the morning to have a cup of tea and the kettle didn't work!

No mention that Harringay Train Station is the nearest to the Hotel-I had to walk over 30 minutes from Highbury & Islington Tube Station when I could have simply taken a train to Harringay and walk less than two minutes to the hotel!
I stayed here as I was working on an event at Alexandra Palace and booked fairly last minute. For the price, in London, I wasn't expecting anything fancy and this hotel didn't disappoint! Everything was very basic but serviceable.
I had a room at the front and am surprised that I got any sleep due to the thin (and not shutting properly) windows and busy road outside - bring earplugs! The en suite had broken tiles on the floor, the shower head holder was missing and there was no mat on the floor, making it quite hazardous getting out with wet feet!
Nothing at all!!!
Everything about this hotel was disgusting! First we couldn't even check into our hotel when we asked for early check in. It's literally a hole in the wall, a dirty, filthy hole in the wall! We asked to leave our checked bags with them since our room was not ready, they didn't have a storage room for them, they were to be left at the front desk. There were cameras on the desk but the desk was so tall, the cameras couldn't even see behind the desk. Once we came back to check in there was NO ONE with our bags! The walk up the our room already had us rethinking the place. The carpet on the stairs was falling apart, a giant mirror was hanging on the wall wedged in between some pipes. Our room and especially bath room was a joke! Our bathroom had cracks all over the place, there was mold on the walls, every corner of the bathroom was dirty. There wasn't even a pole to hang the shower head, you had to hold it yourself! I had to turn the water off in between washing because the drain wasn't working properly! Drawers on the dresser were bolted shut so you couldn't even use them! Light fixtures were hanging off he ceiling. My wife and I had to sleep on top of the covers of the bed, it was too gross to get under the blankets. Our heater didn't work in our room and we stayed there the end of September and it's cold at night! We had to sleep with our pants and hoodies on. The "continental breakfast" is a joke!! You only get MICROWAVED eggs and toast. When my wife and I asked for water the lady working in the kitchen told us no, and walked away. The only reason we didn't check out is because all the cheaper rooms at other hotels were taken because of the Miami Dolphins and Raiders game we went to go see. Even the next day when we came back to our room, our trash had not been taken out and our bathroom floor wasn't swept. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures online, neither did the breakfast area!
- Location was 5 minutes from my school - I only had to cope for 2 nights. - I was too tired from travelling to keep my eyes open. - bed was okay. SO long as I was sat on it and able to watch TV I could zone out the problems.
- Parking turned out to be on path outside hotel and use of it had to be pushed for. - breakfast included in price not served until 08:00. 15 minutes after I needed to be at work. Nothing available; also no refund of cost of breakfast. So ended up at Subway effectivley paying twice for breakfast. - curtain did not reach across window so had to be careful when changing. - room did not feel or look clean. Felt like a student bedsit at the end of the year - unlike advertised card payment not available. So very tired, in the dark, had to walk in a strange area to find a cash point. Took about 20 minutes as I missed the first. Thankfully could talk via mobile my partner as I did this to feel a little safer. - hotel is a DIY project in progress. - lots of late evening noise
It was a roof over our head and only 1.2 miles away from where we needed to be at 6am the next morning. It's across the road from an excellent Tapas Restaurant.
Very tired hotel. Carpet warn through in many places, tiles in bathroom all uneven, no hook to hold the shower head so have to hold it whilst you shower. The water in the shower takes ages to drain so your shower had to be pretty quick if you don't want to flood the place. When we turned up we thought the hotel was closed for refurbishment as all of downstairs is a building site. We were on the top floor so it didn't affect our stay. The reception has a very loud TV in Arabic blearing out all the time. The furniture in the room was falling apart. There was no door on the wardrobe and when you moved the cups on the little coffee table, it was worn through to the hardboard underneath. The bed sheets did look clean and the bed was comfortable enough. I do think for what you get the room was very expensive (£70).
2 mins from train station
The hotel is in a extremely bad state of repair Very dirty looking
Price and location
Dirty bed linen, ant powder all around the room, disgusting bathroom, no wardrobe door, light fittings hanging out the ceiling, wet patches on the floor, I could go on.....
Nothing. The hotel was dirty and a complete Mess. everywhere. I would not go again and would advise anyone else not to either
The whole hotel. The room, the shower, the restaurant, the reception area, it was dirty and very shabby
a location was good
a smaller room and a small freeze in the room, in two days ago just one towel each so badly ,
1. Upon arrival the desk staff demanded CASH and complained i only had a debit card to pay with. 2. The "Parking Available" advertised was actually parking on the pavement outside the hotel. this could not actually be done though for 2 hours while i had to wait for the hotel staff to remove their own cars from the space. 3. Soap dish full of white slime. 4. TV Ariel was just a portable Ariel resting on top of the wardrobe. 5. ALL shelves missing from wardrobe so was just a USELESS BOX. 6. ALL furniture damaged and falling to pieces. 7. Towel rail falling off the wall. 8. Shower filthy. 9. TEA making facilities consisted of ONE tea bag.
