a basic hotel, ideal as somewhere to crash out at the end of a hectic day. clean, tidy, quiet with friendly staff TV signal very poor. "English breakfast" consisted of toast egg and beans! other options were toast and marmalade or cereal. larger selection would be nice and some meat on the English would be even better

The Price The fact that the television reception was either not available or kept "breaking up" in to pixilations. The need to travel on overground rail to connect to the London underground. (I wish that I had known of the number 29 bus service earlier!

The cook was friendly. My room wasn't cleaned all through my stay. The hotel's payment policy is too rigid.I made an extra payment few hours before I eventually checked out. and I wasn'table to get atleast half a refund. Secondly no help with luggage

We travelled for the Darts in the Alexander Palace and it was very central for that purpose. Directions on the internet need to be updated, we got a train then the tube whereas the railway station is just across the road so we could have got the train straight there. The location was very central for the darts but the hotel itself was very basic, could do with a major upgrade. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

24 hour reception and decent sized room. Great location. Had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready even though we got there hours after the last people would have checked out. No-one was on reception when we checked out so we had to leave our key with the cleaner.

There was nothing that I liked about the hotel except it was cheap to stay.. the rate I paid through booking.com was the same as the rate they offer normally... it is definitely a good option if you want to have a quick stay for one night at a low price.. especially if u r on a business visit or single.. Not very clean. I booked the room for 3 nights, after start of my stay, not even once the bedsheets were changed... Shower unit was not clean.. probable I guess someone should tell them what a breakfast is.. certainly they do not understand the meaning of that...

It was warm. No parking, basic furnishing. paint, plastering coming off in the bathroom, and people talking loudly at 3 am in the morning which they do not stop even after repeated requests. One could otherwise sleep in the very basic but warm and slightly shabby room.

We were promised an early breakfast, but no one bothered. Also the parking was a bit and hit, as there were only 2 spaces and we had a van. The only good thing about the hotel was the excellent tapas resturant that was opposite . mrs tolley

Although the room was basic it was comfortable, the shower was hot and it was clean. It was good to be able to check in so late. I prefer to drink tea in the morning and there was only coffee in the room, it was a little noisy in the morning and as I didn't arrive til 3.45am a quieter room would have been better.

Staff were friendly. Very comfortable and clean bed. Good value for money and great if you are on a tight budget. Whilst bed, carpet, sink, toilet and shower tray were clean, less obvious areas were not. Cold baked beans (i.e. straight out of the tin cold) not brilliant at breakfast.
