The staff were fab and the local people made us feel very welcom. X
Staff were superb, nothing was too much bother
No downside to this property
Staff Friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was fairly priced and enjoyable.
sorry not for me... & i would not stay there again...
Friendly host. Good food. Perfect for an overnight stay.
Meals reasonable, staff very good.
We did not have to go through reception every time we left/returned to the hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was huge. Food was lovely and freshly cooked.
Good food friendly staff if ever. In area again wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Rooms could do with a freshen up
Staff are friendly and room was very clean and tidy.
STAFF WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL
VERY TIRED DECORATION BADLY IN NEED OF COMPLETE RE-DECORATION AND FURNITURE NEEDING REPLACED
It is a lovely local pub with great staff, and a homely feel. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere in the place, with all our needs being accomodated.
Nothing for the price it was everything we needed and a little bit more.
Staff were warm and helpful. The food was home cooked and wholesome.
The room was awful. Shabby. Smelly. Grubby. The sheets were clean but the quilts on the bed were disgusting and full of fag burns. The smell of the room was somewhere between dampness and sweaty feet. No wi fi in the rooms. Taps were broken. Flush was broken Toilet roll holder was smashed.
What a great little Inn. Great food and very friendly, helpful staff.
Scottish rain. But you can't have everything!
Liked the village, and enjoyed the facilities of the Inn. The rooms are separate from the Inn, so it was quiet. Room was good. Would like to have stayed longer.
The thick walls of the rooms prevented internet access, however it was available at the inn.
the lovely village the hotel is set in. the food-good value
wet carpet under skylight having to watch head because of sloping ceiling in bathroom 2 singles beds pushed together and called double
Heating was within our control for the whole of stay (1 night) Cheap and easy to book Easy to locate and park
Mattress (2 singles pushed together) were in need of replacing Loo roll holder loose and rusty Grime, dust and cobwebs abound! No instructions on when or where to leave key Whole place was in dire need of refurbishment and a dashed good clean!!
Friendly staff especially owner Alistair traditional pub good comfy bed at a very reasonable price and the option to add on a hearty home cooked breakfast for only 7 pounds highly recommend as a stop over or base for touring or working as a cheaper alternative to premier Inn etc.
How can you complain at the price and what you get for it !!!
Staff are friendly and the price per night is very competitive. The locals were friendly, our last stay was on the 31st May, we took in the boxing (Froch v Groves) and the place was packed with young and old. We enjoyed our stay as we also did during our first visit, def recommend the Longforgan.
No downside really apart from the last room we were in 210 was quite small compared to the "Falklands" room.
Big comfy bed
Creaking floor from upstairs occupants
General location and parking facilities.
Falling curtains. Inoperative light over basin. Expensive breakfast - being an 'extra' (I declined this).
Size of dbl bed good, staff helpful, good for overnight stay.
Furnishings a bit dated and tired looking, for 2 adults could have done with more towels but on the whole a comfortable overnight stay.
Our host Alister was helpful in advising us how to get to Inverness. The food was great and the atmosphere cosy.
