This is more like an old-fashioned motel than a hotel. The facilities are basic but serviceable, not luxurious but all that is needed for a simple night's sleep. Having a ground floor room with a door direct to the outside is wonderful when you're travelling with a dog & don't want to disturb other guests. Excellent breakfast! The bed, in double format but 2 singles connected to each other, felt a little 'tired', as did the creaky old tv.

The courtyard where the rooms are were pleasantly surpising in that it was not what was expected. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for an overnight stay. The bar/restaurant are just a few yards away from each room and cater for snacks or 3 course meals all at very respectable prices. A little care and attention both outside and inside the rooms would go an awful long way to making a stay more pleasant. Simple house keeping and no cost maintenance is lacking

The beds were very poor, felt like the mattress was 20 years old. Had to sleep on the floor in the end as it was so uncomfortable. I or my buisness will not use this hotel again.

Being just 5 miles South of Dundee, I found this hotel to be very conveniently situated for my visit to Ninewells Hospital for a training course. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

This is an excellent value for money pub with rooms, as oppose to a hotel.Excellent value friendly efficient staff, good choice of good pub grub, and plenty on your plate The exterior of this pub is off putting - but don't let it put you off going in , as it nearly did with me

I enjoyed the wonderful welcome given by Alastair and his staff, the incredible breakfasts and very tasty and affordable evening meals. I enjoyed the privacy of the room I had in the annexe, and the atmosphere of the oldie-worldie Coaching Inn itself, with its well-stocked bar. It all felt extremely homely and friendly, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

What a shame. The room needed a good clean and a bit of money spent on the furniture and fabrics. I don't think I've ever stayed in such an uncomfortable bed.

Simpáticos e bastante tipicos... Os quartos muito antigos com cheiro a humidade. O wc tem alcatifa no chão o que achei muito pouco higiénico.
