Hidden away amid the beautiful countryside are small towns and villages just waiting to be discovered, including: Much Wenlock, a Medieval town with a 12th century priory; Bridgnorth, a market town full of half-timber buildings, shops and inns; Ludlow, the capital of the Marches, claiming "the most beautiful street in England"; Clun; Bishop's Castle; and, of course, Ironbridge, a World Heritage Site. The larger towns of Shrewsbury and Telford are less than 20 miles away.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the A49.
- Exit into Church Stretton Town Centre.
- Continue along Sandford Avenue.
- Turn left at Lloyds TSB.
- Travel along High Street, going straight over the mini-roundabout.
- Take the first right into Cunnery Road.
- Proceed up the hill, minding the hairpin bend.
- The hotel's main gate is at the top on the left-hand side.

By Train:
Church Stretton has its own Railway Station. Service runs to and from Shrewsbury or Newport.
