Noise from main road
Great set of staff very help full and worked hard to make you feel welcome thank you
the rooms actually had all the facilities i needed. the food was good. One member of staff went out of her way to try and make up for the problems we encountered (see 'didnt like' notes)
furniture tired, bed squeaky and lumpy, no pillow protectors, pillows disgusting. kept awake by a weekend angling party making a lot of noise through the night. one member of staff unhelpful to guests
the fact that carvery was on site at a very good price plus menu. room serviced each day. thank you for a lovely stay.
Most of the above.
The room that we occupied was adjacent to a set of traffic lights on the main A5 trunk road - hence there was quite a lot of vehicle noise through the night. Room 1 wasthe one occupied.
Lovely food - helpful staff.
Bedroom looked 'tired' but nevertheless, comfortable.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and spacious and a bath in the room was brilliant to have. The pub/restaurant was great value for money and the food was delicious.
The trouser press was broken but it was not too important.
Clean, hot water.
In need of renovation.
I have stayed more then once at the hotel found it good for my business ,good accommodation , food, and friendly staff especially when you are from abroad you need somewhere like this to keep you mind at rest
Breakfast good when we finally got it.Also shower was powerful.
Tired decor, wallpaper peeling off. No one at reception, which was locked, when we arrived at 7.30pm. Went into breakfast at 8.45am no one around no table laid for us as did not have us down for breakfast.
We have stayed at longshoot a few times and always enjoyed our stay there breakfast very good
I have stayed here a few times in various rooms and to be honest they are all looking abit tired now decor wise, could do with a refurb and the the prces are a little steep in view of this and how cheap you can now get travelodge rooms.
we had two rooms my self and wife room poor my daughter and grand daughter room disgusting need painting new tiles and groutingcwindow frames complet makeover cost £44 only worthhalf that poorist place I have stoped in in england
We have stayed several times at Longshoot while on business in the area, and have been delighted with everything. A great break between two long days of work and in the middle of a 400-mile round trip from home.
We stay here for the odd night 7 or 8 times a year. It is what it is, rooms with a pub. We have also stayed at the sister hotel but don't like it as much. More a pub with rooms.
The parking needs to be sorted out. During the fishing season the small parking spaces are over run with large commercial type vehicles, occasionally blocking fire routes. A situation which the management seem reluctant to police. There is a more than adequate large vehicle park to the Hinckley side but it is never used.
Rooms Looks better on photos
Staff, Power of the shower, Well stocked tea and coffee tray with real mugs.
No Wifi in the room, windows on the ground floor are very small and don't let in much needed cool air.
Bed was ok and staff friendly and the biscuits were nice :)
The room I had didn't have all free view channels and the cold water so slow out of tap. I was moved and other room was fine
Location of pub Food and drink well priced Convenience The cost
Rooms could do with upgrading
All meals and carvery at restaurant were good value
Staff and food.
Staff were helpful and friendly
Bed was like sleeping on rubble dirty bathroom, plaster lose on ceiling, cobwebs and stains on carpet.
Rain water coming through ceiling room 46
The cooked Breakfast was not quite up to the standard it use to be
