The owner Andrew was very friendly and welcoming upon check in, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again!
The room ambience is good and beautifully decorated.
Toilet very little toiletries.
There was a buzzing noise, like the water system all night
We went with a large group of friends. Nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. We were made to feel welcome and any concerns were addressed right away without hesitation. Food was excellent. The whole visit stress free and relaxing. Very short walking distance into Bowness and amenities. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to chill out in beautiful surroundings.
Can't think of anything at all. Was all brilliant.
very friendly welcoming staff very helpful, room lovely and spacious and clean, close to all amenities
The staff at the hotel were lovely and couldn't have be more accommodating.
The bathroom we had could do with a little TLC
The owners and staff were extremely helpful, warm and friendly.
The length of stay was too short.
The staff we met were extremely friendly & couldn't do enough for us - breakfast was fab & my 2yr old granddaughter certainly enjoyed it although thereby have been more Rice Krispies on the floor than she ate!
Wasn't too keen on the four poster bed as felt it took a lot of light from the room. although the room we had was clean I did notice when I had to retrieve something from under the bed the area were the posts finish was quite dusty but I think that's just me being picky! The showers door rubber was hanging off & a large crack in bedroom wall but I know Andrew said they were re- decorating.
Bathroom needs upgrading.
The location and breakfast. The staff were excellent
The showers in all of the rooms that we had were not of agood quality, small and the awater was cold.
Location breakfast view friendliness of staff
Bar was shut at 10.20 was hoping for a nightcap !
Location was good , staff very friendly , very home like place
Car parking very tight , I feel I paid a bit to much for my room priced at £100 for one night , we could hear other guests having showers and using the bathroom .
Room Location Staff Cleanliness Breakfast Price
We loved the quaintness of the rooms-4 poster bed and all! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the full English at breakfast was the best we had our entire trip!!
Our room faced the Main Street, so there was a lot of noise from traffic and people going by.
Room was very nice and clean perfect location for town center and places to eat and drink staff where very helpful and friendly would stay at this hotel again
The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Nice touches in the room, sherry and sweets! Breakfast was lovely, nicer than 5* hotels we have stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for Bowness too. Bar available too, which is unusual for a B and B.
Bathroom needs some attention, rusty fittings, mould on ceiling, but this would not put me off staying again though. Bar prices were a bit expensive and some bottled drinks nearly out of date. Again being picky here.
Ample free parking with traditionally serve English breakfast beside choices for the menu. Room are clean with good facilities.freindly staff. Near to many attrctive site that Windermere can offer.
Some of the furniture are old- need to be mend.
