Its not a dislike just a comment.......we stayed at the hotel with our 15 & 18 year old sons. We had been out in the evening to celebrate a 70th Birthday. The following morning the boys were rather hungry and the breakfast was rather minimal and the bacon a little under cooked. Maybe make the breakfast a bit more fulfilling to make the next stay perfect. Thanks
I liked the cleanliness, car parking space, staff friendliness
all was good
tv system needs fridge in room
Location, facilities meals and staff
Room was very hot. A fan was provided. Obviously staff recognised a problem
The room was next to a very busy road so traffic noise was a problem late into the night. The Bathroom was in need of renovation. It was obvious that the cooked breakfast was not freshly prepared and the coffee was not very warm.
Ideal location, the hotel was very clean, good size bedroom, staff very friendly. would stay again.
Smoking areas by the doors could be moved.
Room was a reasonable size. Plenty of parking on site. Reasonably close to Shrewsbury town centre, able to walk into town
Bed very uncomfortable and pillows not worth bothering with. Given bedroom very close to a busy road so very noisy all through the night. Heating system also rather noisy all night!
Locally sourced food Spacious room. Breakfast
Comfortable room very clean and food excellent
Ease of travel into town.
Problems that we raised on days one and two remained with no attention up to leaving on day six.
hotel and staff very good
room in lodge ok but very basic suitable for over night stay
Staff, facilities, location
Just volume of flush in bathroom, reported to housekeeping
hotel was friendly . clean and comfortable. cheap
a bit too far out of town.
staff were very friendly and helpful couldnt do enough to make my stay comfortable
a little close to main road with some slight traffic noise
food and service excellent in bar/restaurant. Staff very good.
Lodge needs updating and shower, bed and pillows improved.
Cleanliness, staff & location, a home from home hotel, wouldnt hesitate to return, thankyou.
We loved the restaurant, food and service excellent. The reception staff were polite and welcoming.
The room was pleasant, but we had to walk past large open rubbish bins to get to it. Disappointing after having such a lovely meal. The TV in the room chose the channels itself and needed a lot of patience! 3 out of 4 pillows were feather, which was fine for people without allergies.
Very reasonable price. Rooms reasonable size.
The cleanliness was a bit poor. Particularly in the bathroom.
Comfortable, clean and friendly.
the room smelt of cigarettes even though it was meant to be non smoking. the bed squeaked every time you turned over and the pillows were lumpy.
Breakfast Decor of dining room
Location : a nice stroll into the town centre Staff : nothing too much trouble
We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel
Clean room. Lovely breakfast.
We had a lovely suite and enjoyed the accommodation and the breakfast. Staff were helpful and I would recommend this hotel.
Room Evening meal in restaurant Parking
Service at breakfast was only fair (didn't seem very friendly)....and no natural yoghurt and limited fresh fruit.
