Really enjoyed Vicki's, and her Mother's, interaction and willingness to accommodate last minute changes. Food was excellent; hostess wonderful; and we look forward to visiting again when the garden is in bloom.
Apart from exceptional breakfast beautifully presented, had an equally exceptional facial in the comfort of my room! Victoria was a wonderful hostess too and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Best wishes, Jane
Beautiful house. Lovely owner. Nothing was too much trouble.
Didn't stay longer.
Room was nice. Owner lovely person.
Found the room cold.. But other than that good.
Our host could not have been more welcoming, and the breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice.
The bedroom could have been larger with space for sitting, and the bed was a little creaky.
In one word....Fantastic ...Vicky is a wonderful host....
Victoria was very friendly and hospitable. I enjoyed meeting her and her family and experiencing a taste of British food and culture.
Walking distance to pub Quiet and peaceful made very welcome on arrival WIFI Facilities in the room
Nothing to dislike
The House The Room The Location Victoria
I liked everything
The cottage is very pretty and is in a great location. It is close enough to the highway for convenience but far enough away you don't hear the traffic. The breakfast room was very pleasant and we had the opportunity to chat with the other guests. Our hostess was very friendly.
The room was a bit tight and did not have a place to rest a suitcase. The standalone full length mirror could have been removed and a standard hotel suitcase support put in it's place. Next time we will book early enough for the larger room.
Great welcome with lovely fresh flowers in the room and very comfy bed.
Lovely setting and accommodation. Made to feel welcome.
Internet access very patchy.
Vicki and her mom were great cooks and delightful to visit with! They seemed like friends and we will plan on going back soon. We stayed in three local hotels/B & Bs and Lord Mayors was the BEST by far.
Friendly owner Lovely garden Good pub walking distance
Room very small for two occupants and both nights the larger room was taken by a single person Shared bathroom
the garden was beautiful and you were free to walk round it. cooked breakfast was superb, host very attentive but not intrusive.
noisy couple in room next to us
Very homey. Vicki was an outstanding hostess. Mother Sarah was also very fun to meet. Rooms were small but the atmosphere and food made up for it.
We could not connect to wifi while at this location.
Quaint. Excellent service from the owner. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the grounds with flowers, hedges and other plantings. Very quiet location. Would recommend to my friends.
We enjoy history, and this had it. prob the oldest building we've ever stayed in.
Vickie was extremely helpful. Gave directions and even delivered items we left behind!
Beautiful house with amazing history. Very friendly welcome and very helpful. Very comfortable and lovely breakfast. A really excellent B&B
