Score from 1252 reviews Very good
Noisy lift (though turned off at 10pm so didn't keep kids up all night!, bath not working, noisy bar users downstairs.
Comfortable bar area , and good night porter
shower cubicle is too small for an average size man , and sink in bathroom is as big an ashtray
clean and tidy
old, wonky doors that you don't really feel very safe behind. noisy city centre location (nothing to do with the hotel itself)
Breakfast did not has many options
Friendly Helpful staff Plenty of room in room Comfy beds Quiet Continental breakfast plenty of choice
no remote for televison
Location and cleanliness
location quiet basic room, bed, breakfast but good value for money
closeness to train station staff were friendly and helpful
not a major issue but it was a bit of a struggle to get through upstairs doors ( probably fire doors) with luggage
Nice hotel. Good location close to train station an bars/pubs.
outdated, small bedrooms, poor quality
Could have had bit of t l c .quite basic. Bed and pillows not comfortable but clean. Corridors very noisy
Big rooms, hotel is located in the city center, nice personnel. Shower is good.
Breakfast is very medium, no eggs or cheese. Next to the hotel is a constructionsite, which causes some noise. The rooms are really noisy too, you can clearly hear the people on the street and in the hotel corridors.
The matrice was basically completely warn out and the springs were broken in the middle of the bed, meaning one sank down really badly in the middle . I had to sleep on top of the duvey to make at a little more comfortable. I would not not go there again.
noisy of the opposite pub
Friendly staff, good size room, good continental breakfast.
Fire doors at top of stairs, we had difficulty getting through them. Storage area for cases needs renovating. Seating in bar and dining area (seats were to low)
Cost, staff, room, closeness to station
Food is a bit poor, but I've stayed here before & know it.
Great Location, Friendly staff,
near Lime Station.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Always a pleasure and nice to be remembered.
Only 5 minutes to Liverpool Lime Street station. And Walker Art Gallery. That's great
Nice people, clean hotel, good decor ,close to town
When you flushed toilet loud noise
Room was spotless as was bedding and showerA bit dated but no complaints whatsoever.Continental Breakfast was plentiful Staff were all very Nice
Noisy Road early in Morning and lots building work going on outside but we were aware and as we only stayed 1 night it was not a problem
Very big and clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent position (2 minutes walk from the train station, 5 from the city centre and right next to the O2 Academy where I was headed for a concert the night of my stay). The perfect place for my needs.
Noisy room (we had bad luck 'cause they gave us the 1st floor room right next to the stairs, lot of people walking by). Poor breakfast.
