Staff were very friendly and helpful The lift. It shut on my father twice whilst he was trying to get into the lift. Dad is not a fast mover and the lift does not give much time before the doors shut. |

The room had everything I needed for my short stay and I felt it was good value. I think there could be more choice in the breakfast and there were no staff around when I was leaving. |

The fact that it is near to the train station and bus stop that goes straight to the airport. Apart from this its extremely near to the city centre, near to a number of landmark attractions. Very, very convenient, and for those that would spend most of the time outside venturing, I highly recommened this place because of its price as well as its location. The room could be spruced up, and well the breakfast nothing to shout about. But i guess what you pay is what you get. |

central situated unkempt feel to the place, bad smell, dirty exterior, staff didnt know anything about the hotel and general info. Breakfast was very badly organised and very limited. Key for room didnt work very well and room faced somekind of generator/extractor/machine which made the room smell unpleasant when opening the window. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a single room. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Standard of cleanliness could be improved - a lot of dust on the skirting boards. Could be a little more generous with tea and coffee making facilities - would have liked more than one teabag! I was however given more on request. |

It was convienient for the Albert Docks and the city centre tourist attractions. It was ok for short stary. The bed was lumpy and there was no lift to the 3rd floor. |

The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to Lime Street Rail Station, so easily located. Also, the hotel has such friendly staff that make you feel very welcome and are helpful. |

Location Breakfast was pretty awful. I stayed for 2 nights and the room was not serviced after the first night. It is extremely noisy. The website implies that you can park at the hotel for £5 but when I tried to reserve a place I was told that parking was actually at another hotel and there is no car park at the Lord Nelson - by this time I had paid my deposit and could not cancel the room. |

There was a woman called Heather who was very friendly and helpfull. I had to be moved because of the noise from 5pm when i came back to the hotel untill late at night when i was moved. At 6.30am someone woke me singing over and over im not sure if it was a member of staff getting up early.(i realise this isnt the hotels fault) but i had an operation the next day and didnt get much sleep. |
