Score from 691 reviews Very good
Location, staff, large Tv, warm hot water with towels supplied, breakfast continental included in price
Double doors on stairs at each floor, awkward to manoeuvre through, bath instead of walk in shower, chairs too low in breakfast area
The location of the hotel is perfect for the city centre. It's just literally next to the train station which is great. Massive bathroom. The tv in the room was the best part. Staff were helpful.
The room size could have been bigger as felt a little squished at times. The bed was very hard and for breakfast would have liked a better variety as it was simple toast or cereal.
So close to lime street station and city centre
TV in the room was not working
The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Felt good instantly and very much enjoyed my stay. Would stay there again...
Just out side the train station girls on reception very nice all in all good value room little small but grand and huge tv
Just on last morning the owner was on the front desk it was 7.20 am asked for a drink at bar but was told was closed for breakfast even do sign saying 24 hour bar but said ok went to get breakfast which was out but was told it didn't start till 8 my cab was at 7.45 ? Said this to him and he said he didn't have time to get milk from the kitchen for me ... Was a shame as everyone else working there was lovely but the owner had no manners
Duvet on bed was lovely-compared to a wafer thin one I had in London the week before !
Not a bad experience but the bed was very hard- I have a bad back so made it sore.
Great friendly service with bag stotage before check in and after
It was noisy at night but we knew about this when we booked so wasn't a problem
Close to station, staff fairly friendly. Bathroom and bed clean. Room warm but...
Room's decor shabby. room 207 walls were stained with damp and room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.
The room was clean comfortable staff very helpful breakfast was adequate!
Can't think of anything !
Location Staff were excellent Secure luggage storage Free Breakfast Size ot tv in room Range of tv channels
Hotel is one step up from a hostel. If u want comfort & luxury, then don't stay here.
Lift stopping at 10.00pm
Very friendly staff who helped sort out a mix up with the room without any quibbles.Well appointed, fresh, clean room. Comfy bed.Not stingy with the pillows. Welcoming atmosphere in the breakfast room.
The Hotel was going through a bit of a refurb.I don't think the work had got to the halls and landings yet. my main problem was the level of noise outside. A lorry or lorries were being loaded with metal barrels and this kept me awake. Luckily it didn't affect my son though.
Good location.Good value
Super central. Tidy. Value for money and then some.
Tiny rooms and in our the wifi couldn't reach
location excellent, rooms super, staff on the ball, great value for money great stay
not really a bad comment but a full irish breakfast would really top off a great weekend
The toilets on the ground floor were less than desirable - I was shocked at the narrowness of the corridors and the doors -it was so hard to get a suitcase through - a real fire hazard in my opinion. Well what can I say about the rooms - i felt I had been transported back in time - net curtains on the windows, very thin duvet and pillows no comfort there. No wardrobe just hooks on the wall to hang clothes. No central heating just electric heaters so when we arrived which was around 9.30pm the room was freezing and bed clothes seemed damp - I just wanted to run out of the place but unfortunately it had all been paid up. The toilet and shower facility was so small and again cold and miserable. I have to say I never stayed in such an antiquated hotel and I wish I could have read a review like the truthful one I have just written. I do not understand how this premises passed the fire regulations - oh no phone in the room either. Also five minutes late for breakfast and we couldnt even get a cup of tea - service I ask you!!
The bar open all night
The end of the weekend having to go home
Sound location, taxis right outside door, breakfast nice and light, modern rooms, loved every minute of Liverpool very nice break away will return again. Staff were polite. Good value for money.
The weather and unfortunately have to park over the road in different hotel and pay but we were in a city and probally have to pay for parking any other city
I rang the Hotel directly from Northern Ireland and told them it was our 45th wedding anniversary and could we please have a quiet room with no stairs as my Husband as walking difficulties as I had tried several times to contact them by email and couldn't get them. They give us a room at the front with building work going on and we were wakened before eight o clock with constant banging we went out on the Saturday came back at tea time and the lift wasn't working so my husband had to climb two flights of stairs which was extremely difficult for him with his walking disablement which the staff were well aware off it left him very sore breathless and really stressed I spoke to the staff about this but they were nt really interested and offered no help to us the lift was still not working the next morning which ment we could not get down for breakfast as my husband could not get down stairs and up again ten back down again to check out so we just struggled down and checked out without breakfast I feel that we deserve an apology and a refund as it was disgraceful and totally the hotels fault I hope You will look into this matter asap
