The hotel was excellent. Staff were all very helpful. The food in the restaurant was of an exceptionally high standard. My room was immaculately clean and the decor was very tasteful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. There was a wedding taking place during my stay and my room led straight onto the courtyard where all of the guests were congregating and, as a result it was extremely noisy. It might be helpful to try to place all non wedding guests on the other side of the hotel? I realise this might be impossible but worth noting! |

The hotel keepers were very welcoming & went out of their way to make us feel confortable. They offered a choice of rooms to enable an elderly person shower more easily, with only a short walk to the hotel's main facilities. Meals were excellent with a wide choice. The hotel was quiet & we slept well there. Cannot think of anything negative. |

The restaurant was very good but The restaurant service was very slow and unattentive. Although the hotel was comfortable, clean and family run if the same level of staff supervision that was applied to the bar was applied to the restaurant then the problem would disappear. The towels in the room were "tired" and the actual bath towels were rather small. They let down everything else which was of a good standard. |

A very friendly, laid back approach to customer service which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A real pleasure. |

The location, the fact that the owner was actually present and the food was very good. I would have preferred it if the television in the bar had been sited so that it did not dominate but could be watched by those who wanted to and not by non tv fans like me. As I was there no-one was actually watching it at all. |

Family run hotel where everyone kows what they are doing. The rooms are clean, neat and efficient; the restaurant offers a well thought out and executed menu, and the wines are sensibly priced..The Lordleaze is not pretentious; offers good service and is consistant in its management and approach to its clientele. |
