We were there for an event in Warwick Castle, it was right on the doorstep which was great. The parking is hit and miss and noise from the road is very loud but all in all an enjoyable low budget stay.

The location was about the only thing we liked. No parking available when we arrived. Took 15-20 minutes for someone to check us in as receptionist was busy serving drinks in the bar. Another guest noticed us standing there for a while so went to the restaurant and pulled a staff member from there to help us finally. Room was hard to find through labyrinth of corridors. Room was cold. Bathroom was old and not caulked properly. Carpet looked dirty. The hotel smelled funny. Decor was old and tired looking. It just wasn't a pleasant experience for us all around. Unfortunate as Warwick is lovely. We came to see friends who live there within walking distance of the hotel and when we come back again to visit them we will not be staying at this place.

Very centrally located which was great for the "do" we were going to. The receptionist was very efficient and the check in was carried out without any problems. The room was fine, double bed, all the facilities we needed although more tea bags and milk might have been good. The only thing that could have been a nuisance was the thin walls and the volume of noise outside our room with people walking past which often sounded like someone had come into the room, it was so close. But it didnt keep me awake so it wasnt the problem I had thought it might be. We didnt have time to use the TV or shower so can only comment on the comfortable bed. We didnt eat breakfast either. The place was clean and roomy downstairs so it felt like a very well appointed venue and the car park was very welcome.

The young man who worked in the breakfast room was friendly, well turned out and very helpful. We had a room which was evidently part of a family room seperated by by a wall? and a joining door. This was so thin that I could not only here the young men using their antiperspirant but smell it. The hotel has a twenty-four hour bar. Great you may say but not if your room is directly above the bar.

The hotel , although recently decorated was very dated. The first room was unacceptable with a bathroom fan about to fall off the ceiling . The second room was very far from reception and although better, took a long time to get to because of many stairs. We had to pay before going to the room, but we decided to go to another hotel and forfeit our £89

The staff (we thought there should have been more staff!!) were absoloutely wonderful particularly Rory who seemed to be able to do any job in the hotel. Hotel itself looks tired everything was spotlessly clean but bedroom and public areas looked tired.Bedroom was small both beds against walls, unable to see T.V. which was unacessable, too high up and too small.Woken at 7.15 am on Sat morning by dreadful noise from what appaered to be the extractor fan which was located a foot away from our bedroom window. I complained to reception and the young lady assured be it would not happen the next morning. This in fact was managed beautifully and we woke naturally at 8.00 am. I was also suprised that there seemed to be no retaurant facilities in the hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect for not only visiting the castle but for wandering around and looking in the shops. The room was clean and comfortable - an all around great stay. I would stay there again!

Central location close to the Racecourse (where we were heading) and amongst numerous restaurants and Castle. Perfect for our requirements within a budget. Clean and comfortable with complimentary teas/coffees/shower gel/shampoo etc. Choice of teas in room, E.G. Earl Grey and Green Tea, sugar and sugar substitutes which were replenished daily. Staff chatty, polite and helpful. Free car park. Would recommend this character hotel. Strange breakfast arrangements in that nothing was visible and no menu, however, whatever we asked for we got! No complaints - beds were comfy. The room was clean, we slept really well. Staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect location for our needs

Breakfast was pleasant, and servers were polite, and efficient, although it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit as an option, with perhaps some yogurt. Reception staff couldnt be bothered to help, or move, and the room was very dated. In definite need of a new mattress, woke several times with being in extreme discomfort with its lumps and bumps, let alone the room smelling of wet dog on entering.

It was nice and handy for the castle as we were attending a wedding there. Reasonably priced rooms. Breakfast was good. Would definitely book in again as we would like to explore and stay in Warwick for a few days maybe later in the year. Room was ok but for the peeling wallpaper and water mark (I presume) on ceiling of bedroom. Decor could have been better.

I think the location of the hotel was excellent the room was comfortable and had all facilities necessary lovely hot showers comfy beds, central location plenty of parking. There was lots of reviews on the website stating cold showers but i think many people did not realise you had to switch the hot water on by flicking a switch just outside the bathroom. may explain why they had cold showers. I found the staff friendly and helpful.

Close to Warwick castle. Found a nail file within the sheets and strongly suspect the sheets hadn't been changed. The window leaked air as though open and could not be adjusted. Noise from people and cars on the street kept us awake most of the night. The tile floor in the bath room is SOFT! Could hear footsteps around our bed (hopefully this was from the room above and not a ghost!) The room was TINY! No place to put our second bag. We left early to get some sleep.

It was central and had parking and the staff were helpful. Although this hotel was comfortable it was undergoing refurbishment , this I feel should have been displayed on the web site. We were moved from one room because there wouldnt be any hot water, only to find the following morning we still didnt have any hot water, we were asked if we wanted to be moved back to the first room which had hot water !! We declined and they did sort out the water whilst we were out. And didnt charge us for breakfast,. I probably would stay again as long as the refurbishment was finished

It is still a good, old-fashioned English Hotel. A lovely big room, bed and TV. Plenty of storage space. Fantastic towels, which were not whisked away after one use, thankfully, but clean ones were left to use if we needed them. Good breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. A shame it has not restaurant at the moment. It does not seem fair to charge the same for full English breakfast and Continental breakfast.

Lovely and clean, although our room was on the small side, with no towels or soaps in the room we had to ask for these Our bedroom was located in a corridor that was very creaky and sounded like the other residents were about to come in to our room

Room was ok, and bedding etc was clean and fresh. tea facilities good Could not get any hot water through for shower..........ran hot taps for 20 mins before any warm water came through........and when it came through, lack of pressure made it a poor shower........so messed up our evening preparation before we went out.
