Lord Leycester Hotel

The location of the Hotel.

There were 4 lights in our room which were not working, and we had to change the light bulbs our selves.There was a electrcal problem with the bed side lights.When you called Reception there was no answer you had to go and look for the Lady. Wallpaper was hanging off the walls.

Poor rooms, poor decor

Staff very helpful and friendly; hotel well located for Warwick Castle and the town centre;

Rather a maze of corridors and short stair flights on arrivalespecially with a few wrong turns with luggage. Much easier after a bit of exploring.

room was small, basic, dirty window ledge behind curtains, dirty floor round edges in bathroom. bed comfortable but needs to be changed due to staining on base unit. Got the impression the hotel was very understaffed.

Convenience to Castle, bed very comfy. Staff friendly.

Room did get very warm, and no way of cooling it down. Would be very uncomfortable in Summer.

the staff were very friendly and helpfull, The location was great for castle visit and visit to Warwick, off road free parking was very usefull and something I look for when picking accomadation.

The room was good value for money. It was clean and comfortable.

The floor boards creaked! I could hear the people above me walking.

It smelled musty, damp

Good location and friendly staff, breakfast was good and parking facilities in a city centre are always a bonus

Hotel was fine, sadly the church bells riniging 100 metres away all night on the hour disturbed our sleep. Nothing they could do about that but double glazing might help!

Good location in town. Everything works. Good English breakfast.

Should provide free wireless internet service.

The staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful. The room was basic enough but clean and acceptable for the price. The location on the main street of Warwick was very good for seeing the down.

Decor could do with an upgrade. There was a strong smell of stale beer and cheap cooking oil in the corridors. The windows were dirty. But again it was relatively well priced for the area.

The hotel is very central, close to all the historical buildings and great restaurants, and has on site parking. Our room was pleasant overlooking the main street and had a four poster bed. Breakfast was includede in the price and was fine.

The decor and design were a bit tired.

I arrived late and left early so didn't do much else but sleep. Room perfectly ok for one night and the rate, including breakfast, was excellent.

Hotel felt 'tired', maybe in need of a bit of tlc
