The staff were nice. The rooms are tired but comfortable and clean.
We were at the hotel for a wedding. The hotel need to sort out their plumbing system as soon as possible. The hot water was not working in 4 of our parties rooms. Not good
The staff were extremely friendly. As I had most of the day between checking out & catching my train home they were happy to look after my luggage so I didn't have to drag it round Warwick all day
the location was ideal to expolre the town.
The building was 'tired' and in need of renovation inside
Close to town centre. Lots of good eating places close by. Also not far to train station.
Bedroom had secondary glazing with a section missing thus lots of street noise. Room was looking "tired & worn" but was clean. Not adequate lighting in carpark.
Dirty room, light fixtures hanging off walls, room was dirty, room smelled of mould, door to adjacent room hanging off hinges, mattress was extremely hard
central location, confortable bed, good choice at breakfast with freshly cooked options and very helpful staff
On two mornings, no water out of the shower, then eventually cold water only - after changing rooms, still only cold water, so only managed hot showers on 2 days out of 5. The bathrooms have old fixtures and fittings including a chipped enamel bath in our first room. All the decor is in need of a makeover.
The staff was very helpful
No restaurant in the evening
room decor was tired but clean
It was inexpensive and well located
The room was very jaded and needs a total refurbishment. Thenet curtain was filthy as was the window frame which looked like it was last cleaned years ago. Part of the double glazing was missing which made the room very noisy.
Where shall I start? Rooms are dirty, dreary, drab. Taps spun around when trying to turn them on. Toiletry bottles empty. No hot (or even warm) water in the morning. For such a good location, close to Warwick Castle this hotel should be able to offer so much more. I will never criticise a Travelodge again!
The location was central and free parking was a bonus. The entrance and downstairs areas looked impressive although we were attending a meeting at another hotel so did not use the bar or lounge. The free wi-fi was useful.
The upstairs corridors and our room looked tired, dated and generally shabby. The mattress was uncomfortable and the sheets rough. The room was too warm, the window wouldn't open at all so no ventilation. Bathroom was fairly clean but the toilet wouldn't flush properly and the shower head was so blocked the trickle of water coming out of it went everywhere except where it was needed. Have been in far better 3* hotels.
Centre of Warwick
Old, tired, unkept, dirty.
they gave me a refund as there was no alternative room
The room smelled of smoke the outside window did not shut as it was held open by blocks of wood the inside window as secondary glazing was black with dirt the room faced the main street sprung bed was beyond life span and unconfortable
Location really good for the castle and good parking
we had a room at the front of the hotel and the outside wall was not damp it was possivitly wet with nice brown damp patches Also booked and paid for this in July and was intrigued to see people coming in off the street paying £50 less than us who paid 4 month previous
Beds were clean and comfortable Staff were helpful to they're ability.
Found dirty underwear in room Floor boards very noisy Rooms were not clean Poor pressure in shower, either too hot or too cold Operation of window- supported with wooden blocks when tried to open more the window closed on to my fingers and trapped my hand there had to get my partner to help me lift the window to release finger which is now heavily bruised. Did get a part refund and an apology. Will not be going back.
Location within Warwick and the Entrance Lobby was OK
General lack of hot water. Decor was shabby away from Reception and Lobby. Chipped enamel surface in the bath. Broken window catch in the Bathroom. Had an unfortunate incident in the early hours of Sunday morning with disturbance in the corridor outside our room requiring Ambulance Service attendance.
We were visiting the castle so it was perfected
We found the service on the bar on saturday nite very poor we arrived down to meet friends and family at 6pm in the bar and after trying to find someone to serve us a young lad arrived about 6.15 by this time about ten to fifteen customers walked out.
Staff were pleasant bar was comfortable
The heating was on full blast whether you wanted it or not, was almost bearable with two fans running.
Old hotel, creepy, old fashioned, Wi-fi was not working at all, the room was too small, outside parking with no allocated space, central heating not working and the worst of all, I haven't had hot water in four days!!! Honestly, don´t stay in this hotel.
Four poster bed was comfy and facilities were good but my only fault with the stay was on the morning of departure I was unable to have a shower as there was no hot water
No hot water at all in the room
good location with parking. good wifi
hotel rather shabby & in need of refurbishment/redecoration. Breakfast at £10 per head was not value for money & not as described, the sausages were cheap frozen sausages no way were they Cumberland.
The room dark dingy & small bathroom small mouldy & musty. Floor stained hardly room to dry oneself no hand rail around or in bath sorry this hotel had nothing going for it and cost us £65 how lucky that we had only booked for one night
Cold water poor plumbing!
didn't have breakfast -thought £9-95 per person expensive
