The Lords of the Manor is pure luxury. If you want a really special, totally indulgent break then choose this hotel! The service is spot on , the rooms superb and the food sublime! Wonderful!

Was not at all interested in seeing Midsummer Nights dream. As it was a special birthday we had to come that day & stay over. We were going out for a meal but unfortunately I felt a little unwell. The staff were fantastic & in spite of all their arrangements supplied us with sandwiches. For which we were very grateful

Pleasant countryside, quiet surroundings, comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, informed service.

人里離れたカントリーサイドの広大な緑の庭園の中のマナーハウス。雰囲気があり、のびやかな時間を満喫でき- ました。スタッフの洗練された良質のサーヴィスに感動。但し、英語が堪能であることが必要ですね~！

バスタブが小さいのと 水の勢いが強くこまかい 調整ができなかった。

インテリアからバスルームまで、部屋がとても可愛かったです。 また庭も素敵で、白鳥も飛来する池がありました。 宿泊までにメールのやり取りもできたので、安心して泊まることができました。 日本人には少し味が濃い気もしましたが、少し（かなり？）贅沢をして、素晴らしい料理もいただきました。 どうもありがとうございました。

お部屋の掃除もこまめに行っていただいて満足しましたが、ベッド脇の棚に雑巾の忘れ物があったことぐらいで- す。

ゆったりとした時間をすごすことが出来た。

レストランで食べる夕食は良かったが、部屋で食べたルームサービスの食事は子供たちが翌日大変な思いをした- 。　油が原因か、他かは不明。

Das Hotel mit dem Park und den Zimmern entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geräumig. Der Service ist gut wird aber über die Pauschale von 10% auch extra berechnet.

Das Angebot des Abendmenue zu einem relativ teuren Preis von 70 Pfund pro Person ohne Getränke entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen aufgrund der angebotenen Qualität. Die mit der Rechnung einbehaltene Servicepauschale auf den gesamten Rechnungsbetrag (incl. Übernachtungskosten) von 10 % entspricht nicht den Leistungen des Hotels. Bei sehr schönem Wetter konnte man nicht auf der Terasse frühstücken. Obwohl komplett möbliert hatte das Personal auf Anfrage die Nutzung der Terasse zum Frügstück nicht zugelassen.

My husband and I stayed for only one night and yet we felt as if we'd had a week's retreat from the hurly-burly. This tranquil place with it's understated elegance and careful luxury delighted us in every way. The staff were thoroughly friendly and helpful, the service most efficient and the dining/breakfast exquisite. Although the ambience is one of peace and relaxation, it is not stuffy or staid. The young staff and other guests made for gentle but lively company.

Great service from all staff but in particular the sommelier who gave us a tour of the wine cellar and after learning we were visiting the Bordeaux region, left a letter for us in which he made some suggestions of vineyards to visit while we are there.

The entire experience was a joy from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the dining evening was fantastic. 100% satisfied

何と言っても建物外観は素晴らしい。庭も芝生が青くて花が咲いててきれい。夕方と朝に散歩をしたが、とても- 癒された。スタッフは日本人並みに気が利いて一生懸命働いている。ベッドサイドには飲み物を用意してくれて- いた。ディナーはミシュラン取っているらしく、美味しかった。お料理に合うワインのリコメンも素晴らしい。- 朝ご飯は雰囲気は大変良い（個人的にTraditional breakfastは好きではなかった）。

当たり前ですが、お値段は少々しますね。。。これまた当たり前だと思いますが、冷蔵庫はないです。2階の物- 音はけっこう聞こえます。

We were delighted to be upgraded, our stay was shortly after our wedding, we had a champagne welcome which was much appreciated! The hotel is in a beautiful setting and everything is comfortable.. Andy deserves special mention for his helpful and personal care.

We had a lovely room with superb bathroom facilities, but we really did think that for a five day stay the storage space was very limited, particularly short on drawers. We have stayed in b&b accommodation with better storage available. This was probably the only negative ...

Interesting food,comfortable surroundings.

Felt it was unnecessary to have so many supplements which were not properly explained by the staff. eg when asked if the cheese was an either or the desert was told yes that was correct but a supplement was charged. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Gelegen midden de natuur in een typisch landelijk dorpje.

Zowel het ontbijt als het diner is ondermaats naar onze normen .Van waar het restaurant zijn Michelinster heeft gehaald is voor mij een raadsel en ik zou er zelfs geen BiB MIchelin voor durven geven .

ロケーションは申し分なし、評判通りの場所でリラックスできました。部屋も清潔感あり静かな睡眠をとること- が出来ました。スタッフの対応も気持ちのよいものでした。

車での訪問は、土地勘のない我々には少し不安がありました。 国道に案内板等があれば迷わずスムーズなアクセスが出来たのでは・・・。夕食もチョイスに問題があったかも- しれませんが、我々には少し味が濃厚過ぎた感じで、2日目の夕食は他のホテルで済ませました。

Lovely setting. Great staff. Suite spacious and well appointed. Great value.

Everything, although at the weekend it was very warm and difficult to sleep as no A/C or fans.

Adding 10% gratuity on the whole bill including the room tariff.

Everything about our stay was as near perfect as we would have wished for. We were delighted with being upgraded to a lovely suite upstairs; we loved the service and the charm of the place in such a beautiful setting. The superb comfort of the bed and bedding were also very much appreciated. Thank you so much. We are now planning a return visit we loved it so much.

What's not to like? We really could not fault our stay there and believe me, we are a picky a pair!
