With 4 AA Red Stars, it is one of the top 200 hotels in the country, and offers delicious award-winning food. Each bedroom is individually designed, with elegant furnishings. Some rooms have views of the parkland and pond, or the walled gardens and Upper Slaughter Hill. Every room has a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and an iPod docking station. Lovely area and the hotel is truly unique. We enjoyed being able to walk across the fields into the nearby township. The staff need to concentrate more on the service element of their job rather than just act snooty. Our breakfast service was very disorganised. There appeared to be no set agenda or schedule. Every patron within earshot were complaining!

The warm welcome on arrival and continued personal attention of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. Decor & ambience were both excellent and food was delicious. Location beautiful and conveniently placed for Royal Shakespeare Company productions at Stratford. And many Cotswold Villages. We appreciated everything about Lords of the Manor and hopefully will return.in the near future.

Location was really good Receptionist was excellent. The bed was to small 4ft 6" The room was to small. The weather was very humid and we were up in the roof which made it a very uncomfortable night.we moved rooms on the second night room was slightly larger the bed was king size. That was much better but we were still up in the roof..It did not come up to our expectations

Excellent accomodations in an idyllic setting. Lords of the Manor was the highlight of our 15th wedding anniversary celebration in England. Lords of the Manor was beautiful and it was set in spectacular Cotswolds surroundings (without the tourists and noise and bustle of other Cotswolds towns). Upper Slaughter is a perfect village in the Cotswolds. The room at Lords of the Manor was very comfortable and the setting was luxurious and relaxing. Attention was paid to every detail from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. One of the best hotels I have visited.

Location, views, walks, surroundings, staff and comfort in hotel. Nice place. 1) The interior decoration is bit blend, and the dining room is outright boring/ugly. I know taste is personal, but there are far better ways to decorate, even a country hotel, more tastefully. (Carpets, wall paper, chairs in dining room). 2) Prices of the drinks and food are London level (the rents are not !!!). Even though it is a luxury hotel and it has a Michelin star, it looks that the pricing level has been adjusted to meet the Japanese and Chinese Tourists which are brought in through deals with travel agents rather than realistic value for money. 3) The Michelin Star restaurant is ok but nothing special. Not creative and run of the mill dishes, which is fine but is (again) priced at London levels rather than value for money.

Public Footpath
