cuz my English is bad and the first night I did not understand what landlady said and I sent message to ask for hair drier but she didn't answer me, so I called her phone number, and she insulted me, on xmas night, I sent her message and called her for my food which is in her refrigerator, cuz it was in her room, but she didn't answer me again and lately she said she didn't receive any message until 22:00 and she went out to have dinner, which means I didn't have anything to eat that night even I told her that I needed to eat sth for taking medicine, and we argued. so when she came back, she turned off the hot water, there was just cold water in winter. Wonderful. And sea side? oh good, there is a house in front of your room, you can imagine the sea which is after the house. so 260 pounds for what? And here on booking says the room is 200 meters squares, i think it means the house is 200 meters squares, the room maybe is 20.
i think for 10 mins, i dont know what aspect is satisfied, it totally was not worth 260 pounds
There appeared to be discord between couple who ran guest house - as such it was not a warm welcoming atmosphere for a relaxing weekend. On day of leaving we asked to leave our luggage - reply being no with no offer of help as to where we could deposit luggage. Luckily we found a local hotel who were very helpful. Next time we shall go to this hotel and NOT the guest house.
Very good accommodation very clean and comfortable.
Gwen and Patrick made very welcome, even going as far as saving us a parking space. The room was well decorated and very clean with a very good shower. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. would highly recommend.
Friendly and helpful
The attention to detail...car parking space reserved for us was very welcome after a long trip from London. It was great to meet a couple who took such pride in their B&B and our room was very comfortable and clean!
Only comment to add was in relation to the hot water - Far too hot! Perhaps adjust the thermostat
Both myself and my partner are used to staying in 'corporate' style hotels, Loriston guest house was a refreshing change. The guest house had many 'home comforts', the hosts were both friendly and considerate (Gwen & Patrick) even when dealing with some very rude guests they maintained professionalism and calmness. Both myself & my partner would return if ever we was in the area.
There was nothing to dislike at the Loriston.
Great hosts, great breakfast to start the day, very clean and tastefully decorated will return cheers Gwen and Patrick.

the house was spotless the hosts were very attentive breakfast was great the bedroom was very good nothing was too much trouble excellent
Parking can be an issue but no more so than other establishment so close to the front, you just have to be a little patient. Patrick found us a spot nearby.
Gwen and Patrick made us most welcome, nothing was to much trouble. Room was tastefully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Gwen's local knowledge of places to eat & visit helped to make this a great weekend break.
