Excellent owners. Good place to base to drive into Bath. Walking distance to nice village pubs for dinner. Good on site parking. Good full English breakfast.

Overnight stay - Friendly welcome, as we arrived quite late the lady kindly booked a table for an evening meal at a local pub for us all, Rooms were bright airy and clean bed linen smelt lovely! fab wet room. Good selection of refreshments in the room. Breakfast lots of choice fresh fruit, pastries, all the usual you would expect and of course a full English which was cooked to perfection!

This is an absolutely superb B&B - beautifully designed, lovely fittings and furniture, friendly and helpful. Nothing about it we would change.

We had a very enjoyable experience at the Lorne House. The Inn keeper and his wife were very pleasant and helpful, they make our stay memorable. The B & B is outstanding.

The bed was nice and big,great shower.I stay in a lot of places around the country,one of the nicest rooms i've had.

Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and super supportive following a distressing incident involving a break-in in our car. Also, the breakfast was great, using delicious home-made preserves and locally produced sausages. We were happily given every support, as well as friendly suggestions for local activities. Would recommend Lorne House to everyone.

The breakfast was excellent! The room was very comfortable and the owners were friendly. It made me feel good staying there.There are DVDs available and you can borrow any from the owner and enjoy yourself in your room. Very quiet and close to nature definitely a good place to get away from the city! It takes only 15 mins drive to Bath but you might need to take bus or call cab if you dont have a car.

The room and facilities were very comfortable and breakfast was lovely. It was useful to have parking on site. Helpful tips on where to eat.

Excellent room with a very comfortable - and enormous - bed! Shower was first class and breakfast very good too. Location is ideal for Bath and surrounding countryside. Thoroughly recommended.

Unable to find any negatives it was a very pleasant stay.

I admit that I made my booking based purely on budget and availability, as finding a room in the centre of Bath on that weekend was virtually impossible, but on arrival we were delighted by Lorne House Bed & Breakfast. Easy to find, the house is immaculately beautiful. Rooms were luxurious with huge comfortable beds and pristine white sheets and the en-suite wet rooms were a real pleasure! The breakfast was varied and delicious and the staff helpful and friendly and welcoming. We all agree that next time we are in Bath, we'll definitely go back! A real find.

Fantastic quality of surroundings and very helpful service.

Being there a bit off-season, had the run of the house. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were recently renovated yet kept the charm of the building. Baths were updated with modern furnishings. Enjoyed the full breakfast and the general atmosphere.

The room and the facilities were sumptuous. The welcome was great and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was very good and all in all, it was worth every penny. First class!

There was a very good selection and it was fresh and the cooked food was just right.

Fresh fruit, berries, home made jams and lemon curd, freshly brewed coffee, full english ets. It was quick, cosy and delightful. Great service as well, no pressure.

We stayed at Lorne House as we was attending a party. Everything about Lorne House is just perfect. Michael and Fran thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The whole package was excellent. The owners were welcoming, helpful and chatty. The rooms were beautifully furnished and comfortable, and Mike cooks a great full English breakfast! Oh for those of you who don't like a full English, then the breakfast table was well stocked with alternatives!

It was very family friendly, we had extra beds for the children rather than existing bedding that most places offer.

Very friendly bed and breakfast mike even offered to book us a table at the bear for dinner! We had a family room which was gorgeous! Soft carpets and wonderful wet room! Breakfast was lovely with a big choice with good service! Can't praise enough will definitely go back!
