Lorne Hotel  

Decor downstairs -surpassed that of actual room. Bathroom and shower good. Good price.

Actual room was tatty-front vinyl of drawer missing-unsightly lumps of dried in glue evident,tear to carpet,scratches on wood etc&the hut milk was off!!!!-overall fine for a one night stay.

Loved the restaurant! Room very clean and comfortable.

Noisy neighbours and that the fire doors slammed a lot!

Room was clean and tidy. There was a table in the room which is convenient for people who want to work privately during their stay.

Breakfast was okay, but not worth 10 pounds per day.

Internet wifi was very poor strength, had difficulty catching with work emails etc.

We liked the design of everything inside the hotel and the colors and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were looking forward to eating in the Indian but didn't get back to the hotel in time in the the smells were delicious coming through to the bar.

We only had 4 tiny sugar sachets in the room and it doesn't really equal much.

I liked the glass frontage and the modern feel of the hotel. The staffw ere excellent and very friendly.

The curtain was ripped and was very disappointed why they knew about it and didny change it until i complained.

Very close to secc. Staff at the desk were great. easy to get into town.

No Parking except for on the street, which was a hassle.

This hotel is great! So lovely and clean, the rooms are massive & the bed is rather comfy!! Me & my boyfriend stayed in the lorne hotel 16th February after the x factor tour at the secc. We met a couple and brought them back for a few drinks at the cocktail bar, I may add the strawberry & raspberry daiquiris are amazing !!! I can't believe all the bad reviews about this hotel & it only being a 3 star .. It definitely should be a 4! Me & my boyfriend will most definitely be visiting this hotel again :) thanks to the staff for being so helpful & making our stay lovely! Thanks to the bar staff who gave us a free drink on the morning of leaving after missing breakfast.

No ashtrays outside hotel so a lot of cigarette butts lying at entrance

a Large wedding was being held in the Hotel and the party, being held on the first floor, was easily audible on the 4th floor!

I was put in a room next door to the function suite. Very noisy, ended up leaving the hotel without staying due to the noise levels.

The food and cocktails were amazing. The room was very clean and tidy.

The pillows were very uncomfortable and the room was quite small!

Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable with modern decor and facilities. Great choice for anyone on a budget but looking for quality accommodation.

Very welcoming hotel. Hotel looked good outside & inside. Bar area was very stylish & comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

There was a damp smell in our shower room which an air freshener would easily solve, but this did not put us off the hotel.

too long to check in because a terminal was not working hotel car park entrance blocked by a parked car so no way to access this
