The room we stayed in was very spacious and we didn't experience any of the noise problems in other reviews. The location is excellent for touring, with many places to visit close by and excellent walk to the castle from the hotel. The pool seemed to be occupied by swimming lessons a lot of the time and the changing facilities are a bit spartan. |

It was a friendly and comfortable place to stay. I was disappointed that the Sunday evening Carvery had been moved to the lunch time without being informed. |

The location and building. Good price too. My bed was a bit rickety, lightbulbs didn't work and I wasn't keen on the decor in my room. |

The location and the breakfast staff were excellent !! Security was poor, another guest had been given a key to our room and just walked in, thinking it was his room, and we had to complain that there was no hot water when we arrived. |

There was no heating at night so it was so cold in the room that I had to take the duvet of the other bed and wear a jumper and it was still not enough to keep me warm. On the Saturday night it was impossible to sleep because there was a party in the main building and drunken people were speaking loudly outside. Far too expensive for the level of comfort in the room. Easy to break into the room |

Staff very friendly and polite. The layout of the rooms is just amazing, they are not situated in just one building. They are all converted outbuildings i.e. The Granary, The Dairy, The Byre etc. Just amazing. I lived in Cornwall for 22 years, been to Lostwithiel many times but never been to the Golf & Country Club before. It's a lovely place and would go again. |

Cheap rooms; clean bathroom; very hot water; fairly personable staff Thin bedroom walls; my twin room had three beds in and felt cramped - the room was adequate, designed for praticality, rather than for leisure and comfort - but you wouldn't expect anything else for the (very reasonable) price |
