Lough Erne Golf Resort  

This is a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings amidst two golf courses. The staff are very very good at their job, friendly, courteous and attentive but not in your face. The restaurant food is gourmet and absolutely divine. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable-it has log fires in the reception areas, plush seating, soft music and serves afternoon tea with all the trimmings. There are also two club houses for those who prefer to dine there. We stayed in a lodge beside the main hotel and enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel-spa, pool, restaurant, bar, etc. The lodge is spacious and has self catering facilities. It was a truely wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants to excape from the world and pamper themselves. I look forward to a return visit.

Wine & drinks were expensive,although probably not out of line for a hotel of this quality. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.

I loved the service and friendliness of the staff. They got to know your needs in a very short space of time, and remembered you next time they saw you. The spacious relaxing spaces were fantastic too. Oh, and the food ...absolutely scrumptious! I enjoyed the whole experience! Thank you for being there.

The only thing that could come close to a dislike was the heat in the bedroom during the night - a little too warm for me. But for me, better to be too warm than too cold. Better if there could be heating controls in the bedrooms.

The quality of the service

This hotel was modern, clean, very comfortable, quiet, good food excellent staff and all very helpful.

One ridiculous point is the soap provided didn't lather.

Everything was perfect! The setting, the hotel and staff were great. Staff couldn't be more helpful and will tend to every whim. Food was top class, if you're staying you should also try macneans; easily the best restaurant in Ireland, which is on the doorstep, but lough erne's food is nearly as good! Everyone should stay at least once and booking on this site will get luxury at a affordable price!

The hotel was very luxurious and the staff were incredibly helpful. The food was also fantastic.
