Tranquil setting, great views, good food, nice room, friendliness of staff, and although I did not play it, the Golf Course. My only reservation would be having to walk the short distance to the grill room, which on an inclement day could be unpleasant. Also I feel the entrance to the Grill Room could be grander in keeping with the rest of the hotel. |

Excellent setting, great service and a wonderful golf course. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Great menu. Bed in room 115 was not as comfortable as expected, especially on one side. |

Relaxed, shop, gym and spa. I found the price for drinks and wine excessive, a bottle you could get in the town restraunt for 9.99 was 27 pound in hotel. |

The staff are wonderful - a very high standard of customer service. The Golf course has tarmac paths so there are lovely walks with views of the lakes. |

The lake view was amazing. I found the staff to very pleasant and helpful as they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! The windows of the pool steamed over and therefore you could not get the benefit of beautiful view. I have stayed in other hotels which have a fan system below the windows to prevent this happening. |

Very relaxing location and atmosphere. Hotel facilities excellent. Thai Spa a wonderful experince to enjoy. Yes. We booked a standard courtyard room and received a room with disabled faciliteis so there was no bath to relax in and the shower wasn't quite the experience I'd hoped for or expected! |

Lough Erne offers a luxury experience from start to finish, with top quality accomodation, bars, restaurants, spa facilities etc.The staff were uniformly courteous and helpful-overall an excellent package! We were charged an automatic service charge, which was fine, but this was not made clear initially and we had already left cash gratuities on a number of occassions. |

The luxury surroundings and setting of the resort The bar and restaurant staff lack experience that you would expect in 5 star hotel. The bar staff were too eager to serve drink The experience in the Catalina Restaurant was novel , at 9 .00pm a family with baby in a pram and a 2/3 year old toddler entered the resturant where seated beween two couples trying to have a quite meal and put up with a crying baby. |

The surroundings were lovely, the hotel very comfortable with an excellent bedroom and en suite, and a very good atmosphere. The food was also very good. Quite a long walk to the pool and spa area from our bedroom. |

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Golf first class, spa experience very good ( apart from a cracked tea-cup). Public areas brill - loved Gordon Wilson Library.Stunning scenery, very peaceful & relaxing. Loved the idea of individually prepared cooked breakfast. Food in club house poor + very slow service. Breakfast was a bit hit & miss, fry seemed greasy - potato bread seemed to have been deep fat fried ! Dinner in Catilina good, apart from miniscule portion of dessert. All food & hotel prices too expensive + hated having to pay 10% service charge on most things. |

The Lough Erne Golf Resort is one of Northern Ireland's best kept secrets. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this golfing resort is a great place to go for a long weekend / luxury treat. You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy the facilities of this 5 star hotel, it caters for your every want. The only downside would be the Resort's Spa facilities... the steam room wasn't working when I visited and the changing rooms are tiny. Besides this... the hotel has great walks, 3x great restaurants, wonderful views overlooking Lower Lough Erne and a world class golf course. I hope to visit again. |

the very friendly and helpful staff - the wonderful surroundings the fact that young children were allowed in the pool after the 4pm time limit - very distracting for older people wishing to swim. I was also concerned at the lack of supervision in the pool - at one stage I saw a child of approx 7 / 8 sitting on the edge of the jacussi with no parental supervision. I've stayed in a number of hotels and would consider this more a 4*plus rather than a 5* - for instance the wine glasses in the room were dusty. Just wee things that detract from the overall standards and may not represent value for money. |

Quality of the hotel and staff. Best 5 star in Ireland. The golf course is fantastic with spectacular views. Every detail has been thought of and no expense spared. Food in hotel of a very high standard.Golf shop staff from the Director to receptionist go out of their way to help. All staff make you feel as if you belong there. |
