We were a party of four staying 2 nights in Louisa Lodge which was excellent accommodation. We all enjoyed our stay there. All the staff were very helpful. The position of the hotel though on a hill was not too far from the main Swanage town centre.

We loved our stay.We stayed in the lodge with a sea view. The Staff were very welcoming & friendly. We was able to get into our room early, which made our weekend even more enjoyable. Our room was modern spacious, warm, bright, clean & the sea view was beautiful. The rooms in the Hotel are more traditional and have so much character. The food was plentiful and very good. The Sunday Carvery was perfect and you can choose between a 1,2 or 3 course,we choose the one course only because we were so full from breakfast. The starters & puddings looked very temping. We went in November but the hotel & rooms were always warm.Theold hotel building is so beautiful and the history very interesting. The grounds pretty and peacefulThe capark is free & large & near to the hotel. The postion in Swanage town is perfect near to everything, just a 10 min walk to the cafe's,beach, habour, steam railway & shops. We are planning to go back in March/April and can not wait.

Had a wonderful few days of relaxation and comfort for my mum and myself. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the full english breakfast. Evening meal was lovely but would have preferred to be able to choose which courses i would like to eat and pay for.

The whole general atmosphere. It felt rather like being welcomed as a friend into someone's house rather than just a hotel.

During our stay , we stayed in the lodge. We found it very comfortable and its location to town was fantastic. Breakfasts were excellent with much variety.Friendly helpful staff , even if it did take a bit of time to get a drink , as the pipes had been cleaned. Foggy on the Monday , but not much you could do about that. We didnt dislike anything

We liked the romantic building and surrounding garden, the large and comfortable rooms, the spacious and cosy lounge and the bar where we could eat bar meals. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were also pleased that we could leave our car in a safe large car park. The walk to the bus and steam train station only took a few minutes, and the shops and beach were also nearby. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We have been to this hotel before with our grand children and always said we would return together. The hotel offers family and couple breaks on an equal par and we particularly enjoyed staying in the Louisa Lodge as it was quiet yet a short walk from the main hotel. We had a lovely time and would return again.

We throughly enjoyed our four day stay. The position close to beach town and good walks really suited us. There was ample car parking space in the grounds. We would recommend Louisa Lodge and would stay here again if we are in this area.
