Very modern facilities in our bedroom;comfortable and spacious.Excellent evening meal and breakfast.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. NOthing was too much trouble. We were unhappy with the room we had been given and were promptly moved the next day. Credit to them.

The decor in the rooms and elsewhere is tired and in need of decorating. The carpets in the rooms look as though they have been slung down and are waiting to be fitted. Some of the double rooms are only suitable as single rooms as you need to move furniture to get to the wardrobe and tea making facilities. The food portions were very small for the price and some main courses would have made a suitable starter.

my daughter plays in the scottish nationals in perth every year and its close to the arena she plays in this is the second year we have stayed there and will be our last

we had same room as last year a i made a complaint about one of the beds and also the shower was not working and guess what a year to the date and same problems we had the year before and also we were wakened up at 01.30 in the morning with the noise of certain people

The staff are lovely and the breakfast was tasty!!

the shower in the room could have done with a bit more oomph but apart from that our stay was great :-)

Attitude of evening bar staff.

All 3 rooms used by my party had poor shower attachments, impossible to adjust temperature in two of the rooms, a broken showerhead in the third. At breakfast, two of the party requested tea and we were given a large pot containing only 1 tea bag, resulting in unacceptably weak tea. A further single tea bag was provided upon request but the quality of tea was still not acceptable. Our waitress also forgot to bring the coffee ordered by the third member of our party.

No heating at night - very cold

The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very good.

One morning there was no hot water. In the ground floor annexe there was an awful lot of noise from the room above from creaking floorboards.

Dinner & Breakfast : Mushroom Fondue : Bland and "gooey" texture Haggis : components nice but swimming in sauce (haggis hidden) Lamb : Components nice but swimming in sauce also Orange/white chocolate cheesecake : Tasted nothing like it and base too crumbly Breakfast : Components "dumped" on plate ( no presentation ), Bacon tasteless and small spoonful of scrambled egg bordering on cold Apologies for comments but very disappointed with food.

We liked the link with the Queens Hotel and used the pool down there. I like the fact that there was real ale in the bar.We had already stayed there and would do so again.Staff very friendly and helpful.We also like the food in the restaurant, very varied menu.

The hot water tap in the sink was dangerous-room 207, scalding water came out very quickly-we should have reported it.I could not get the shower control, it was either too hot or too cold.

Friendly, breakfast excellent, warm welcome, lovely room but ....

Was in ground floor in annex but smokers on phones meant I could not have window open without smoke and their conversations both entering the room in foul bursts.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, breakfast was very good.

Shower in room 2008 was shambolic, a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. Virtually no water pressure, what dribbles did exit the shower head alternated between glacier cold droplets and liquid hot magma.

I am answering this for my mum and dad, they enjoyed there stay and will be booking again.

Creaky floorboards in room above.

Food was very good. Room was adequate a bit dated and tired tho... Carpets worn . And bed just a double and used to a king size ! Restaraunt was clean and attractive all staff were lovely and friendly . Plenty parking space outside .

Small room no bath just a shower in a small enclosure . At 70 pounds a night is was a little expensive for such a small room. Room was chilly but staff brought us another heater which was lovely.

Single bed a bit lumpy

Good size for single, room was warm. Bathroom a bit dated but fitments ok.

carpet in room sounded like it had plastic carrier bags underneath it. Carpet was rucked and looked ready fopr replacement. Duvet too long for the duvet cover, it stuck outside the cover by 12 inches. Duvet washed out and needs replacing.

Staff delightful with a can do attitude. Food very good and promtly served. Reception staff extremely helpful.

Walk in shower too small. Bathroom really tiny. Lack of adequate seating in room. Lack of drawer space for extended stay guests.

friendly staff and good food but a little further out of town than i expected

No running hot water in the room at all the sink or shower (no bath). My colleague had a pube on the soap left by the previous guest in her room!!! Will not stay again - we have a branch in the local area (mkm), and will advise visiting colleagues not to stay. Reported to reception!! A full refund for both rooms would be nice!

The food, especially breakfast!

The shower in room 206 was weak and slow to drain.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my visit.

The price of the breakfast, plus the room felt quite dated.
