Plenty of space
No cot or high chair. Upstairs bathroom has some serious plumbing work to be done as water was leaking through the ceiling downstairs! We had to stick to the downstairs shower.
Well equipped kitchen, large bathroom nice living room. Easy drive/bus to town
Only 2 beds in our 2 bedroom apartment so I had to share double bed with daughter. Heating came on at odd hours and had to get up in middle of night to turn it off as was so hot. Wifi didn't work.
The apartment is spacious enough for a group of 6 with 2 kids and 2 elderly. The kitchen had the basic equipment for us to do simple cooking. Overall the stay was comfortable.
Some lights in the kitchen were faulty and the cold water tap on the second floor toilet was not working. Neighbor had a party till 2+am and was noisy so could not slept well.
Yes had all that was necessary comfortable sitting room good kitchen Nice and warm
A bit dirty around the edges in corners Bath room a little grubby decor looking a bit tired sheets could have been whiter and crisper No tea towels no bread knife didn't like air fresheners can be toxic
Location close to central Cambridge Dishwasher Fresh towels, clean
We hired 2 houses for a big group and there was real inequity between them - one a lovely modern with nice new furniture, and one a house with much older furniture. These houses were a 5 minute walk from each other which seemed silly as I booked them both at the same time and obviously would have made sense if we had 2 next to eachother - staff unhelpful and unapologetic for their error Not enough wine glasses or tumbler glasses for number of people staying. Parking very limited in one of the houses - only 1 space. Personally I think it is overpriced.
Tv, wifi, large clean comfortable rooms and bathroom. Secure parking. Dishwasher with detergent. Good heating and plenty of hot water.
The only thing I didn't like was the pillow, a little too big for me, but this is not a complaint, just not quite right.
We had a great time in Lovell apartment. It's our second stay in Cambridge and second with the same hotel! I don't have any claims... Wil see you again friends and hope to get apartment which is near to the shop, recommend to everyone!!!
We wanted apartment near tithe co-operation shop... Before our reservation we specially called and asked. They tell it's the same but it wasn't !! We had a lot of choices but we choose aspecially Lovell because of memory from the first time.
House was very clean and functioning, every room had clean towels and there was plenty of toilet roll so didn't have to buy your own
Staff didn't really say anything when we arrived apart from have us the key and told us directions to the house. Also not enough mirrors in house there was only one mirror other than bathroom.
We had an entire house to ourselves for £128 for the night which counts as good value in Cambridge. It was large and well equipped with extra touches such as SKY and Wifi. Definitely a good deal.
Nothing, as a business professional paying £128 for this apartment I was disgusted.
The Kitchen was not cleaned, there was filth on the sofa, hair was on the towels provided, the toilet was not cleaned and there was grime on the doors and to top it off there was a rolled up £20 with traces of what appeared to be a class a drug
big apartment in nice condition
nothing of interest within walking distance
The apartment had really good facilities , nice TV lovely bathroom, great kitchen, people at reception really charmin and it surely did what it said on the tin , with a few niggles..
A few niggles the WiFi didn't work whcih was fine on a short non business stay , there was no hairdryer not a disaster again and we could have called reception at the Hotel for one but did n't want to bother them, no kitchen linen (tea towels or oven glove) so when we used the grill had to use bath linen or risk burning onself. Also the bed was not great the mattress was bigger than the underneath divan which made life a bit precarious .
Very large and spacious apartment.
Surly staff at check in and check out. Single bathroom, although had two toilets.
Excellent apartment, so spacious and modern!
Can't believe this place is not closed down; it's that dirty. Smelled like vomit. Filthy carpets. Overpriced. No wifi. A miserable experience.
It was a house with a lovely garden. We though it was going to be an apartment so we were pleasantly surprised. Great off road parking. Co-Op right next door, very handy! Well equipped and comfortable.
No double beds, all single beds so we pushed them together. Kitchen was grubby and the blind fell out of its fitting. Only one part of the double oven worked.
Smart, clean and modern
Dated bathroom, not very clean
The location was a short distance from the centre of cambridge. The house was well maintained, and the beds were extremely comfy. The staff at breakfast were extremely pleasant.
There was only one bathroom for 6 guests to share. Although the house was well maintained, the fridge was dirty on arrival. It wasn't easy to connect to the free wifi.
Really reasonable accommodation and so close to city centre, great amenities within apartments
Good location to city centre. Excellent value for money Spacious and clean Perfect for a weekend away with a group of friends
Booked 2 apartments and they were 5min walk from each other. Not much kitchen equipment
Very bad cleanliness status, al kitchen was dirty, fridge shelves were dirty. Even dishes weren't clean correctly. I've received Iron board which was dirty and burnt. Price is very big and staff aren't nice(except one nice lady on reception). I will not recommend this apartment never!!!
Nice apartment, quite new, spacious
Very bad maintenance and cleaning status. The staff did not respond to pur observations. On the first day wifi did no work, they said the'd send someone to check itand they never did it. Finally we had to connect to the network of the hotel accross the street, with very poor signal. The microwave did not work either, we reported it the first day, and was never solved. Cleaning status was not good: we found a mug with fermented milk in the microwave! The three big dust bins in the garden were full, they had not been emptied in ages. It is a pity that a nice apartment has such a bad service and maintenance.
x2 apartments booked for a hen weekend. Phone call on the day to say there had been a leak in the bathroom which meant the kitchen ceiling had collapsed so half could stay in one apartment the other half of the party would be put up in the hotel 'across the road.' When we arrived the receptionist gave us 3 keys and pointed to a house which was the overflow to the hotel and said 2 hotel rooms were in there and gestured that the apartment was down the road near the Co-Op.I understand she probably couldn't leave the hotel desk unmanned however I think someone should have walked us over there to show us exactly where because it is not signposted in any way. The hotel rooms were more like a bedsit, although clean and fair for the price paid. The apartment was a little better however it was a 2 minute walk down the busy road which was not idea for a hen party who had booked x2 neighbouring apartments. We went back to speak to the receptionist about this and requested breakfast for all of us at no extra charge, she said she'd refer to the manager and call us, but no call received. Saturday morning we spoke to a different person who reluctantly said yes "if we hurry." This was 9:30am on a Saturday, no where in the "hotel room" did it say what time breakfast was served and the receptionist hadn't told us on the Friday either. We went to breakfast and as we left at 10 some people came down for breakfast, not sure what the rush for us o have breakfast was for as they clearly serve until 10 am! On the Saturday night while someone was showering water started to come through the kitchen ceiling!!! This was either a coincidence or the person responsible for the plumbing made the same mistake with this apartment as they had with the other one we should have had!!! When we looked there was an old water mark so it seems it's happened before. Needless to say we will not be booking to return here for any future hen weekends in Cambridge!
Beautiful spacious property in a great location - handy for co-op and bus outside the door to Cambridge
Couldn't turn the heating down - we were roasting! Probably a problem with the thermostat - I reported this. Cigarrette butts (lots) on the patio
