No yoghurt for breakfast. Bathroom hideous!

Hotel was in a good location for Cambridge and the A14 and Newmarket Breakfasts were excellent rooms nicely decorated and furnished.

Would have preferred a room with a bath as opposed to shower only, not sure if any of the rooms have baths.

One of the bedrooms was unclean - mattress had hairs and stains. This didn't ruin our stay at all. Would recommend purchasing mattress and pillow protectors!

All staff helpful at all times, bed very comfortable after a tiring day looking up old haunts.

Strip light over mirror in bathroom not working plus two pin razor socket in same dodgy, this was the only razor socket in the room as I did not have an adaptor for 13a three pin socket.

Receptionists were absolutely courteous and pleasant

at breakfast our fry-ups were brought to the table when we were only half-way through abowl of cereal so by the time we got to it, it was cold

Staff were friendly and helpful and location is very good for the Cambridge Science Park.

The bedside lamp did not work and one of the towels was not completely clean.

The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay, lovely and warm...friendly helpful staff..

No lock on shower room door, mould on walls...but did not put us off..

we were placed in the villa house which was opposite the main hotel it was fully equipped and was clean and tidy we were more than pleased with the accommadation.We would definetely stay there again and have highly recommend the hotel .breakfast was served fresh and fast we had an evening meal on arrival which was substantial service in the hotel was friendly overall the stay was faultless wish we were staying longer.

breakfast was very good, perhaps the cooked meal come up a bit too quick, but a very minor point, waitress was very good and dining room was nice and comfortable.

No everything was fine, much as expected.

I found all the staff both helpfull and friendly from our arrival to departure. although we only had breakfast that was good. The rooms were clean. we would make the hotel our first choice if we stay in that area again.

Quick check in. No fuss No frills. Very good Breakfast. Very fresh not been hanging around in the kitchen. Very convenient to Science Park and the City of Cambridge. Girls very professional and Smart.

I liked the rotten tomato ketchup bottle,mouldy fork and dirty napkins that had been left in the drawer.also the stains on the bedding .also two pairs of shoes left by the previous guest.i think the cleaner must be a blind person,I'm surprised she didn't trip over the shoes.and that's no all.we were then moved to another room.the shower tray was blocked,so when you had a shower it would overflow.so you had to turn it off and scoop the water out.it was like being on a sinking ship.then in the morning,there was only enough water for one shower.when we told the lady at reception,she just gave us a bill.so it's safe to say,if we go back to Cambridge and the only hotel left is Lovell lodge.iwe will sleep in the car.

Location was good with a few pubs within working distance of 10 mins

Only stayed for one night but all was fine, nice full breakfast sets you up for the day.

Shower cubical in bathroom a little small.

I booked the hotel and told them we had got a dog, no problem there emailed back you will be put in the room for "DOg Friendleys. Ok. I booked it On arrival we were shown in to a different establishment across the road It was not on the same par as the hotel. I understand that land lords and hoteliers have to follow regulations ie hygiene and cleanliness, but did not expect to be in another building.My Dog is cleaner and better behaved then some people. I did not complain, because we were only stopping for 3 nights, but I did complain when I could smell someone smoking in the building, that is not except able. All establishments are now smoke free. I did complain this time. And was offered another room, did not take their offer up, because we were going home the next morning. Think Twice about Booking that again. Mrs k Kilner

Compact small room, Nice tv, good bed. Carpark. Good location for the science park. Nice breakfast.

Strange marks on the top sheet (outer layer - not sleeping surface) Hot water took a while to come through, very hot when it did, plenty of it. Fair amount of noise from other rooms, toilets, water etc.

Breakfast. The dining room is of a good standard and the food was also good.

There was no facility for evening meals. The en-suite facility was tiny, the shower like something from the fifties and wasn't very clean. The bed quilt was heavy and solid.
