We weren't told what time breakfast was served to and thought it was up to 11am, However on weekdays it only until 9.30am(too early)and we subsequently missed it!! Lot of money to pay for just a room!! |

Very friendly and professional staff. The Leisure facility was excellent, my wife availing herself of the Beauty Salon, whilst I pumped away in the weight room. The room was fully equipped for our needs and clean and tidy. Overall a very pleasant stay for our Wedding Anniversary Something that you have no control over anyway, but turning right out of the car park, onto the main road could be a little hazardous at times |

Lovely building, great character of a building. Has an old feel, in places needs updating. overly expensive. The Spa is wonderful, as is the localality. But the accommodation and bar prices are over priced. The dining hall is lovely as is the reception hall, although the bar was outside the reception hall - which broke up the wedding party. The hotel was pet friendly, the pets rooms should be kept to one side. Our bed had 6 or 7 ticks on it. I only noticed after i got into the bed. We were offered a room changed, but the feeling of my skin crawling never left me all night!!! |

The views from the Hotel were lovely and the Spa facilities are excellent. Parking is very easy to access the hotel. The bed was not very comfortable unfortunately which meant that a good nights sleep was difficult to achieve. |

I was impressed with the location of the hotel. The ease of access to Windermere/Ambleside was a factorm in chosing the hotel and I would stay there again. |

Friendly & helpful staff. The main road, very dangerous to cross especially as on a bend. The hotel picture & written details didn't mention the road. Misleading. |

Hotel was in good location with lovely view of the lake if you were at the front of the hotel The house rooms are small with sloped roofs not good in hot weather. The price of a pot of Tea was excessive at £3.50 per pot for one. |

Very good reception and easy stay, food good and timely and excellent breakfast food and choices. Stunning location with ease of access to all in the lakes The coffee service in the morning was odd! It was very difficult to get a fresh cup at breakfast. They should either have more assiduous pourers or simply make it easier to help yourself, |
