We were well looked after by a genuine host, the house was beautiful & full of character. The whole place was cosy, & we really enjoyed the evening meal & breakfast.

We loved Brook House! Our room was the 'Snugborough' and it was quaint and cosy. We toured the Cotswolds and Brook House was the best of the accommodation we booked.

    The shower is very small!

Breakfast! Setting The house The village The environment The bedroom facilities The whole stay was actusally very good indeed.

Everything was fine. But I would have liked a little more genuine contact with the host who was a shy man and therefore fairly reticent. I'd have liked a more natural and interested dialogue with him. Also the décor was very clicheed- the kind of 'inoffensive' and characterless wall decorations that such places might have. I think a house as fine as this deserves good quality, individual pieces of art.

I just loved the pretty buildings and garden, and everything else matched up. My room was delightful. People were helpful.

The bedside light switch couldn't be reached from the bed. The bed creaked. My breakfast bacon was a bit overcooked.

The weather was hot during our stay and having dinner in the garden was very welcome. The location was delightful, quiet but also convenient for visiting the gardens at Kiftsgate and Hidcote. Lower Brook House itself has a very pleasant, relaxed and comfortable ambience and the staff are very helpful.

It would have been nice to have salad on the menu in the evening.

Lovely setting . Did not have an evening meal so can't comment.

Don't know if we were unlucky but the sink plug was blocked twice and the toilet plunger got stuck. The shower took a bit of time to start. This may be the only room with a problem .

A warm polite welcome, the owners were eager for us to feel at home. Outstanding food, a room furnished with good taste, a bathroom out of a top lifestyle magazine. All this in a beautiful village.

We found nothing to spoil our stay.

Location & restaurant (but needs a little improvement in both food & service finesse).

Family room in roof has 'instant headache' door heights!

Lovely house in pretty location. Nicely appointed rooms and excellent breakfasts.

Slightly disappointed by evening meal. Owner, who was front of house, I think, could have been more welcoming and chatty.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house, we were given a warm welcome by the owner and shown to our room which was immaculate with the most gorgeous views of the gardens. Fresh dressing gowns and tasty homemade cookies. Breakfast was delicious with such a wide choice and served very well. Would def recommend to anyone

Hospitality was excellent. We loved the fact that there was fresh milk kept cool in a thermos for drinks in the bedroom! The cooked breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of homemade marmalade, jams and curd.A great place for a peaceful stay.

We could only get BBC1 on the TV; the extractor fan wasn't working in the bedroom and the bathroom was looking a little tired.Unfortunately, there was no mobile/internet reception although our host offered us the use of the house 'phone if necessary.
