Rooms, staff, location
No restaurant service available on the evening of arrival and no prior notice given the day before when I booked. Breakfast didn't start till 08.00 ! So we both missed dinner and breakfast, very disappointing
Friendly staff, Great breakfast, 5 minutes walk from town centre. Just above the beach.
Wi-Fi a bit hit and miss
very helpful and courteous staff. good location.
Breakfast was good and the breakfast serving staff were very efficient and pleasant.Good location for walks and old town.
Got locked out one evening as a woman travelling on my own this was not good. I tried to call the hotel and the main number went through to answerphone service saying leave a message or call back at 8am. Luckily I had a friend I could call but I was stuck in the pitch black.. When I complained the following day the receptionist response was a couldn't care attitude, told me there was a sign on door explaining what to do (there isn't) and charged me full price for a room I have not even used .. Terrible customer service , rooms dated , the bathroom has damp in in .. the shower is not fully tiles up to the top of the wall. Will never stay here again... and will not recommend to anyone travelling alone.
Large room with sea view
The red decor in the hall
Room, staff, location, view, breakfast... All good
location beautiful view
wifi and smell
Great friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings and building.
Hotel was brilliant for our family trip we had 5 rooms including a small dog. Staff very friendly but relaxed, location superb.
Couldn't always find a bar tender in the evening but not such a big deal.
Very comfortable and the staff were excellent and very helpful.
Maybe a lift for luggage and disabled. I arrived with a broken ankle and found the stairs a bit of a challenge.
The receptionist was very helpful and seemed very overworked. One evening there was one untrained waiter in the restaurant who informed us we didn't having a booking. We did. The restaurant was more than half empty.
The restaurant is poor. The staff not trained. The atmosphere is non existent. The tiniest amount of pate for starter with lots of salad bits. Pate is an everyday starter and not a luxury.. Vegetables were well cooked tho. Menu needs a kick start. The bar was not open at any time. Staff sent you down to the open air cafe if you asked for a coffee in the lounge.
clean room friendly staff good breakfast great views from garden garden in good condition great location close to town
very dated , needs to lick of paint reception area tired looking and smells family room too small carpets old and dirty too hot in stairways
swimming pool. location
bedroom - too hot - not able to get more air into room. Breakfast average. Towels / bedding not changed in 5 day stay.
The outdoor pool and hot tub. Dog friendly hotel. The tea rooms in the garden. The position so near to the beach. The sea views. The comfortable bed.
The location. The food. The swimming pool.
No lift. No shelves in the shower. Wardrobe unsafe in room 21. Shower not working properly. No lifeguard for the pool.
Friendly and helpful staff made you feel welcome, and the hotel was we'll maintained.
Did expect to have a fridge, and fully working tv with a DVD player. But did have a working kettle and replenished tea . Cooked breakfast on the first morning was Luke warm though. Not easy for my wife to get to the hotel you have to go up a hill on in even ground, not good for disabled people to get too.
The position, the pool and the hot-tub! The dining room is very pleasant and the choice at breakfast and service is excellent.
The car parkind was a bit of a challenge, not enough spaces especially when busy. Small 3 person bedroom. Stairs when one is 75 and arthritic are a challenge!
Good location. Near to the. Town centre. Close to the beach.
The staffs are not friendly. No service at all. The bed very uncomfortable, very old. The breakfast is not good.
haven to leave
The location is excellent and the staff most helpful.
Nothing of any importance
It's quiet and close to beach. About 10 mins walking from main street. Staff are very friendly and nice. Nice garden view while having breakfast.
The boiler from next door was next to our bed. It's fairly noisy when someone taking shower.
The location was stunning. Size of bedroom was good.
Quality of room, poor quality breakfasts, lack of care in almost everything. There is potential for this hotel to be much better.
Room of good quality. Facilities good but very quiet.
Breakfast was very slow to be delivered and on last day we had to leave as could not wait any longer. We waited for 45 minutes and could not wait ant longer. Also found out when there are no guests booked in on half board they close the restaurant on a Saturday night which is not great after a day out.
The location is excellent, and the outside pool is very good for children
poor service,to many stairs, poor house keeping overpriced for the condition of the hotel. The toliets as you enter the hotel smell not very nice on arrival. Breakfast poor for the priced paid.
