very loud from front street all night, 2 flights of historic stairs very difficult
character, location, staff, cleanliness, price
Very thin walls, so a little noisy.
Nice staff, cute old building, right next to the train station, breakfast is good value for money
Pity that there was a lot of late night street noise presumably because it was Friday.
We had a very small but charming and comfortable room with interesting street view, convenient for all we wanted to do in Shrewsbury centre.
The place was better than I expected for the price. The room was compact--it made use of every inch of space, but it had charm. The wifi was great, there was a little bit of noise from the street, but nothing dire, and no noise from neighbours. The landlady was helpful and friendly. The location is right between the train station and the high street.
Although there is parking nearby it's not easy to find. Best to check before you arrive.
Very efficiently run establishment with a bedroom window looking out onto a street full of character.
Quite a lot of narrow stairs to 2nd floor rooms but I soon got used to them.
Great position, friendly welcome, good view over the street, great breakfast, small but nice single room with view, comfortable. Good value.
Very Helpful staff. Clean and nice bedrooms in the Grade 2 listed hotel. Very nice Breakfast.
Problems with the wifi again!
Ok room and breakfast.
Lots of stairs.
Great location for Railway Station and town centre. Friendly accommodating staff.
The hostess Christel was so friendly and welcoming. The room and the bathroom were really clean and tidy. The room was really quiet and the bed so comfy!!! ten out of ten!!! We will be back!!!!
no hot water during my stay. Hopefully fixed now. There is a shared bathroom right outside en-suite room 9- so lots of door noise and floorboard creaking, early and late.
close to station, nice appearance, close to shops. Given small refund for lack of hot water & heating.
location was perfect for train station and good base for town
Staircase which was narrow and made it difficult for luggage and mobility but Christel and her helpers were very kind in providing a hand.
Lucroft has one of the best beds I've slept in. When you consider its location and with full breakfast thrown in, it provides excellent value.
Staff were friendly and helpful room was nice and comfortable
Single room at the very top of a lot of stairs! Next time, and I will stay there again, I'll take a double room on a lower floor!
Cleanliness and facilities in the room, Clever use of space, Able to open the window! Despite overlooking the Main Street secondary glazing kept any noise out.
Didn't like the climb up the stairs directly from the front door, as B&B is over a commercial premises. Can't be helped but with full cases it was difficult.
Excellent location for central Shrewsbury, and train station. Very helpful and a lovely breakfast.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Great value for money.
Great central location to town and station
Nothing we didn't like!
We loved the place! Very clean! Modern and central to the town, the staff were helpful and friendly and cheap parking was available from the guest house so we didn't have to pay for road parking, The rooms are very quirky and very well decorated with loads of storage! perfect place to come for a weekend! We would stay here again!
Staff was really friendly was really quiet at night
Very close to shops and railway. A few meters from a castle.
Very overpriced Breakfast not included in price Bedroom very small En-suite shower room very cramped Cut finger on broken shard of glass left in wash basin Dental floss on floor Tiny TV barely watchable Harsh lighting
View from window of lovely buildings across street Bed was comfortable Very central location Effective secondary glazing
the smell in bedroom of cold tobacco and the strong smell in the hallway/stairs the constant television noise day and evening and movement of people near my room who seemed to be permanent resident there
very central location close to the station and centre of town, very clean room, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast
Traffic a bit noisy in morning
