What a fantastic location!!! The room was warm, comfortable and clean, nice little touches of fresh fruit, cafeterrie, luxury bathroom soaps and shampoo + his and her bathrobes which made the stay even more enjoyable. The front of house personnel were friendly and efficient, the restaurant staff excellent and food enjoyable if a little expensive.. the cornish breakfast was delicious. Well worth a visit!! |

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location to get away from it all. The staff are efficient, professional and friendly. The food is amazing. Great WIFI connectivity. There is no (vodafone) mobile reception in the hotel - which is an advantage if you really want to have a break. |

Reception service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and obliging, the room was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. Outstanding location! The food was not quite up to expectations and the serving staff, while very willing, were under considerable pressure to effect timely service. The spa facilities were inoperable. |

Location Severaol things could have been improved on..We stayed in Room 303.Bath panel was disgusting and bath itself needed replacing.Although the room was large It lacked space for hanging clothes up (only 7 hangers) and could have done with a chest of drawers.also no provision for electric razor/toothbrush.The food whilst excellent lacked variation. We ate there 3 nights noticing very little change to the menu |

A peaceful place to use as a base but I think it is too remote for too long a stay Considering how expensive this hotel is it was a pretty poor show not to have fresh orange juice at breakfast |

Totally relaxed and informal. Not at all pretentious. Very comfortable Deluxe room, huge bed, Spectacular location on the small harbour, seagulls, crashing waves, smell of the sea. Staff young, cheerful and friendly. Cleaner very helpful. Food was uniformly excellent. Bit on the pricey side for B&B perhaps, but on a par with similar establishments in this area of Cornwall. So not a complaint. |

the location was superb with good sea views and plenty of walks along the cliffs. the room was cramped and the breakfast was well below the standard expected from this class of hotel. |

Location. clean room. Friendliness of staff. Not sure who was in charge. Staff tried hard individually but sometimes lacking in direction. Internet facility not working. Tried to overcharge on bill by more than £100. |

Loved the location and the views, the real fire in the lounge added a lovely feel to it in the evening and probably made it for me. The bedroom was small but very comfortable with all necessary trimmings. The library is a nice touch and in the summer the outside seating arrangements look perfect. The hotel was beginning to look a little shabby around the edges. If you want to keep it in with the 'Top Hotels' then it needs tidying up. Our bath pannel was stuck on badly and falling apart with the caulking hanging off. A few holes in walls and ceilings around the hotel need attending to. The T.V/DVD player wasn't working well, possibly the DVD, not important to us. |

the peace and tranqility and the location of the hotel I found it a bit pricey in the restaurant and also the hotel staff seemed a littlle inexperienced. Need to have soft music playing in restaurant to break up awkward silence |

Often older properties have problems. This did not and has been well maintained. But do need to watch out for low ceilings and doorways. Breakfast was good and would cover most tastes. Views from the dining room of cove attractive. Bar prices a little too high. |

Prachtig gelegen locatie met de voeten in de zee en de coast path links en rechts de klippen op. Uitstekend voor een 'destress'. |
