We were there in Dec 2011 and can tell you that this is a lovely place, efficient, and exeedingly immaculate. The rooms may be a little smaller than some Americans are used to but we had two rooms for 4 people and absolutely loved both! We also adored the location, about 6 blocks from Victoria Station, and were very greatful to the excellent staff that were all very friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way for us, accepting our luggage for a day free of charge so we could sightsee , even though we were just passing through London on the start of our trip and didn't plan to stay with them until our return trip through London a week later. And they set us up with a car to take us back to Heathrow that cost the four of us half (55 pounds) of what we paid to take the Heathrow Express and train from Paddington. And the English breakfast served each morning that is included in the price, is excellent (cereal or eggs, beans, tomato, bacon, toast, coffee, orange juice, hot chocolate, etc). We were sad we had to leave early, before breakfast, on our last day there, to catch a flight, but they were downstairs settiing up the kitchen and offerred to quickly make us toast and coffee/orange juice while we waited for our car. How sweet it was! This place really gives you the best bang for your buck! We can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to go back!

The best thing about L&S Hotel is the friendly atmosphere. Being a family run hotel you don't deal with low-payed and unhappy workers but always smiling family. They do whatever they can to make you happy and comfortable. The hotel is very clean in general and the bathrooms are deluxe. Hans Grohes and others, the stuff you can see on 5* hotels only. The breakfasts are great and in a family atmosphere. Hotel is 4-5 minutes walk to both Pimlico and Victoria stations. If you start day early I'll suggest you to use the less crowded Pimlico station at the rush hours. Most people reviewing the hotel wrote that the hotel doesn't have a lift as a minus point. Well it doesn't but they clearly specify this on the definitions, as they specified the early check out time. So if these are ok for you don't search any more.

Very friendly, and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe. It's in a very nice area, close to the tube and many of the tourist sites such as Buckingham Palace. Although it's only b&b, there are restaurants, wine bars etc only 2 mins walk away. The room was very clean, and the staff very helpful, even providing me with gluten free toast with my breakfast! The bathroom was modern and very clean, and the shower a really good size. I'll definitely stay there again. There is no lift, which may affect older travellers. And the bed does have a habit of sliding away from the wall when you're sitting watching the tv. But they are very minor points, and certainly wouldn't prevent me from booking again.

Great place to stay. Super clean room and bathroom. Great location, only 3 min walk to Victoria station. Hotel is located in Belgrave road, quiet and safe. Bus n 24 is in front of the hotel, so you can take it to get to trafalgar square and many other interesting places, and obviously you can come back and stop by with that bus to the hotel, after a long and tired day of sightseeing, its great. You have internet cable (at times is better than wifi, youre always connected with cable, with wifis not always possible) Good staff and twins who own the hotel quite friendly and up to help you. Complete breakfast to have energy enough to enjoy the city. For young people there isnt a problem at all, but for middle and old clients a lift would be definitely a plus

Excellent location including a bus stop right outside the hotel and excellent service from very friendly staff My only comment would be that at a weekend breakfast was only served 7am - 8.30pm this is a little early for me..

Very impressed overall. Good position, comfortable and clean room, good service. No lift or air conditioning, but to be expected at this price/level. Wifi in the room would be a valuable bonus, but there is access on a computer downstairs.

Friendly, helpful staff, nourishing breakfast in pleasant dining area, clean and fully fitted room and bath. Excellent location, near Victoria Station, and surrounded by a variety of restaurants and shops. Bus stop immediately in front of hotel. Great value for the price - would definitely stay there again. Just need to be aware that there is no lift - wasn't a problem for us, but may be an issue for some folks.

It is very pleasant hotel located perfectly for sightseeing. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, quiet. We enjoyed by staying. All was fine, nothing to complain. However, if we have heavy bags (we had not), it would be hard to put them to the top floor where we lived as the lift is absent.

I really enjoeyd my stay at Luna and Simone! The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was better than I expected, the room was very clean. If you enjoy walking the hotel is close enough to big sightseeing places like the Big Ben, London Eye, etc. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Though very small, our room was well-appointed, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower was good too - powerful and the water was hot! Breakfast was great - quite basic (although you can request changes to the menu), but was well-cooked, very tasty and very generous. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget - exceptional value for money in London. The hotel was easy to get to, and hotel staff were happy to provide information on the local area, and also organised an airport shuttle for us.

The price and location are unsurpassed. The value can't be beat: the rooms are comfortable, clean and the breakfasts are freshly prepared and delicious. The staff makes you feel welcome and are helpful in every way. The 24 bus stops right outside the hotel and the Victoria and Pimplico tube stops are just a short walk. It's a very safe and well lit street.
