Clean bright room Free wifi - good connection Free breakfast
Staff - friendly not obtrusive Location - within walking distance of most places, close to all public transport Room - Clean, well equipped - storage space, TV, Tea/Coffee, hairdryer. Bathroom - clean, well equipped. Nice hot shower Breakfast - Not huge choice but what you get is excellent - fresh and hot
For info for travellers - the room was a very small single room. It was on the 4th floor with no lift (86 stairs) I knew before travelling and did not mind but would not suit everybody
Very basic accommodation but spotlessly clean in a good location with excellent price. Would we stay again..definitely! Has everything you need with a good breakfast too.
Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness, comfortable bed
Hosts/staff very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to help with everything. Location convenient to Pimlico and Victoria Station tubes. Safe neighborhood. Bathroom, especially shower, excellent. Breakfast good, service exceptional.
Poor, unreliable Wi-Fi reception, made communications with family at home difficult. No lift, but we knew that already. Room very small, but well-done.
It's clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, well cared for and welcoming. I was travelling alone and feel at home so don't feel at all on edge, I felt safe. Breakfast is served quickly without you feeling rushed. You are served it's not help yourself. I've stayed a number of times even though some nearby are cheaper they don't same feel. Very helpful staff.
The location was, for my purposes, outstanding. Value for money was very good indeed. When I booked a single room via Booking.com, almost immediately the hotel emailed me to let me know that the room was up a lot of stairs, with no lift, and was that OK with me. The room was inevitably small, but that was fine for me. It was very clean. The shower-room was spotless and very well fitted out. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well indeed - something I do not always do on a first night in a hotel.
Wifi had to be paid for, according to the brochure I picked up in the hotel.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff.
The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is spotlessly clean and we had a great cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. 5-10 minute walk to Victoria station in a very nice area.
Location is central but not crowded Good neighbourhood restaurants nearby Great staff, relaxed and welcoming
Very nice staff/owners, good breakfast, walking distance to Victoria Station, Wifi was good too
comfortable bed quit good breakfast good staff
Asked for lower floor bedroom as my Aunt is in her 80's. Supplied as requested. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in with comfortable beds. Staff very friendly, especially the the twins - Peter and Bernie.
Check how many tea bags the put in the pot if you don't like your tea too strong. They are far too generous!!
Nice friendly staff basic room but good vale for money will use again, good breakfast. Good location,
Wifi good, everything worked, staff friendly
V G Breakfast
Everything especially the friendly characters of the twins Bernard and Peter
great friendly welcome. Very clean hotel with great attention to detail. breakfast was excellent
Lovely welcome from owners. Good location. Quiet but close to tube and city centre. Good breakfast in clean lovely room.
Room size is small. But thats typical london
Outstanding service, very modern hotel. Superb facilities. Just a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express.
Exceedingly clean and immaculate decoration. The staff were very friendly in a natural way without a 'forced' manner. Victoria station is no more than a 10 minute walk away from the hotel and provides both overground and underground train services.
My wife and I were both woken in the middle of the night by guests in an adjacent bedroom who decided to have a bit of a party!! However, this inconsiderate behaviour can happen anywhere and we wouldn't hold this against the splendid hotel.
It was a relatively short walk from the train station, there are two tube stops nearby, and bus stops very close - including the tour buses. Breakfast was good and we ran into friends from earlier in our trip, which made it extra fun. Staff was very helpful in understanding transportation options in London.
Had to climb quite a few stairs to get to our room. Room was a little on the small side.
Great hosts Good breakfast choices Compatible guests of varying ages and nationality
Simple clean hotel in a reasonable location. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable. Our room was on the bottom floor next to the kitchen so we heard a lot of activity in the am. Also we had a cat jump in through our window, but he was friendly and the clerk promptly caught him and took him out.
It was hard to find food in the late evening. We had difficulty navigating. When trying to get a cab ride, we were quoted 50% of the real cost, so make sure you know and the clerk understands where you need to go when requesting a car.
