Exceedingly clean and immaculate decoration. The staff were very friendly in a natural way without a 'forced' manner. Victoria station is no more than a 10 minute walk away from the hotel and provides both overground and underground train services.
My wife and I were both woken in the middle of the night by guests in an adjacent bedroom who decided to have a bit of a party!! However, this inconsiderate behaviour can happen anywhere and we wouldn't hold this against the splendid hotel.
It was a relatively short walk from the train station, there are two tube stops nearby, and bus stops very close - including the tour buses. Breakfast was good and we ran into friends from earlier in our trip, which made it extra fun. Staff was very helpful in understanding transportation options in London.
Had to climb quite a few stairs to get to our room. Room was a little on the small side.
Great hosts Good breakfast choices Compatible guests of varying ages and nationality
Simple clean hotel in a reasonable location. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable. Our room was on the bottom floor next to the kitchen so we heard a lot of activity in the am. Also we had a cat jump in through our window, but he was friendly and the clerk promptly caught him and took him out.
It was hard to find food in the late evening. We had difficulty navigating. When trying to get a cab ride, we were quoted 50% of the real cost, so make sure you know and the clerk understands where you need to go when requesting a car.
Very friendly staff, close to restaurants and pubs, fairly close to the Victoria Coach station and Victoria subway. Bus # 24 right outside the hotel. Great value.
Our room was on a noisy street, no air conditioning. The week we were there was very hot in London so had to have the fan on all night which somehow helped with the outside noise.
Very friendly staff. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Close to Victoria Station therefore easy to get around
Nothing - great place to stay
It is a nice small hotel with excellent service. The location is also very good.
To go up to the fifth floor without elevator in 2015? No place to wait if the room is not ready unless you go to the small and nice Italia cafe in the corner (with WiFi)
A small and very friendly reasonably priced hotel in Pimlico. Tate Britain is a 5 mins walk away. Victoria and Pimlico underground stations are nearby. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast is now served upto 9am
Included breakfast has a limited choice, but the healthy option was good for me. Pillows on the bed were a bit firm for my comfort but I found softer ones in room wardrobe.
This family business excelled with all boxes ticked to make a relaxing, comfortable stay. Very welcoming, professional owners and staff. Great breakfast, very clean, modern service areas and accommodation rooms. A pleasure to return to at the end of a busy touring day. Staff keen to assist with all our needs and courteous. Best hotel stay in this third overseas holiday.
The hotel is absolutely lovely! It's very close to Victotria station, which is very convenient if you arrive to Gatwick airport. The location is just great, the street is very quite but still allow an access to everywhere! The stuff was really helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay there again. Great value for money!
The only thing that might be problematic is noise isolation. I felt like there is no door and walls at all. I heard absolutely every little noise from outside. I came for SouthWest4 weekend, partying almost 24 hours, so i wasn't bothered by the noise from outside as I was too tired and slept like a baby :) But if you are sensitive to a noise, you should definitely consider that.
Luna and Simone is a gem of a hotel strategically situated between two Tube stops providing us quick access to all the important sites. It is run by twin brothers who make your comfort their top priority. They serve you a hot breakfast every morning and will share a delightful chat if you are so inclined. The place is meticulously kept and all the staff go out of their way to see to your every need. I made a mistake in our itinery which required us to stay an extra night in London after our cruise. The lovely receptionist found us a room and even asked us to look at it to make sure we were happy. When we return to London in the future, we will happily choose Luna and Simone again and again!
Staff on the whole were extremely friendly and helpful and stored our luggage on our last day enabling us to make the most of our limited time without carting suitcases about. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat but the description of a full English breakfast is misleading.
Poor sleep one night due to noisy neighbours, not the hotels fault but bear in mind the walls are thin.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with our bags.
Location, staff, cleanliness
Single beds very narrow, pillows like bricks, no cooked breakfast menu choice prefer a buffet. Stairs difficult for mobility impaired.
Central location, good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff & very good value for money.
The bed was too hard for my taste but many people will like it that way.
Visited on the back of other recommendations. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice shower and excellent breakfast. Good value for money too.
Nice staff, perfect location and good quality, clean rooms, good breakfast.
Locality and very friendly and helpful staff
Lack of a lift
Very clean, perfect location and easy to reach, staff is super-nice which was important for a first visit to London. room was big enough and had everything you needed.
Didn't understand why breakfast ends at 9am... this is very early! window to the street and walls were not soundproof.
Friendly , knowledgable staff , helped me with everything from parking to paying my congestion charge. Lovely comfortable room, tasty breakfast and convenient location mean I will be back and recommend to friends and colleagues!
Location is excellent, close to Victoria and Pimlico station. The staff are considerable, friendly and helpful.
Location is excellent to walk around Venice. It is typical of old Italian style hotel
Some of the furniture looks old. Wifi only available in the lobby.
It was clean, fresh, nicely decorated place, friendly staff. I was travelling with my elderly mum and they allocated us in the bottom floor as i had requested during the booking that was great!! We had a window really easy to open and close (which i had also requested), so great again. The toilet/shower was extra clean which we really liked. Beds where clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and they even had gluten free bread which was a plus for me as it is always very difficult for me to eat properly when i am travelling. It was easy to find and it was just a short walk from Victoria coach station. I would definitely recommend this place!!
Only little thing is that the bedroom door was a bit hard to open, but it didn't really cause any problem.
Conveniently located for Victoria Station!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Neighbourhood to Victoria Station
