All the staff were very friendly and professional, the room was very clean and the facilities in the room were great as we stayed for two nights and were completely self sufficient without having to eat out.

Perfect for late night arrivals or early morning departures to and from Luton airport. Terrific, friendly staff, very clean rooms, and excellent rates make this a great way to avoid the stress of getting into or out of central London in the middle of the night. (Black) Cab fare from the airport was only £12 and the train to London is walking distance from the hotel. It's also quite close to the city centre of Luton. Just a good choice all around.

This was my second stay at Luton Hotel Residence and I would recommend it to friends. The rooms are basic (but what do you expect for the price) but have everything you need. The location is ideal (especially as I was house hunting all around the town).

Our reason for staying in Luton was to catch an early flight the next morning. So, it was great to have the kitchenette - we could make our dinner and have an early night. There is a small Italian shop just past the hotel (ask at reception) where you can buy pasta, fresh bread and drinks for an easy meal. It also stocks lots of Polish groceries! Reception arranged our taxi (thanks!) and the hotel was very quiet at night, even in the room next to the courtyard. We would stay here again when travelling from Luton airport. A few more supplies for the kitchen: a couple of sharp knives (one paring/chopping; one bread), & a chopping board. Also a small frying pan. The neighbourhood is not impressive but nor is it as scary as some reviews imply...and the hotel was easily walkable from the train station.

The guy at the reception waited for me for about half an hour after mid-night, and he is really helpful that pointed me out the shop where I could get hot food in 1.30 a.m.!!!!!!! Thank him a lot!!! I don't know his name, but I strongly recommend him. He was at the reception at night on 18th of June!!!! The facilities in my room were brilliant! I got a mini kitchen and a good television. The toilet was very clean and the towels are tidy as well.
