The room doors didn't seem to be very secure and we're awkward to lock etc.
The location was beautiful & great to be able to walk around the grounds. Breakfast good & tasty. Staff friendly.
Room was very cramped especially the bed it was no way adequate for a couple especially as it was pushed up against the wall & only 1 bedside cabinet.
The parkland is great for walking and running. The pool looked nice. It's an excellent location for access to M4 and the Wiltshire, South Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire countryside.
Rather odd bar area and patio accessed through conference room. Smallish rooms.
Free wifi when it worked nice views Price Price Price
small towels bell ringers at it on wednesday until 9pm !! very tired rooms bed very well used small TV but that said have booked again for three nights for work because its cheap.
scruffy room / bathroom needs looking at - bed too small for two people .
The room was comfortable and had everything we need for a brief stay at the start of our holiday. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and we really liked that your prices at the bar were extremely reasonable unlike some other places who seem to think of a number and double it!
Nothing to not like.
On the same site as the church within stunning grounds
No WiFi. We were told it was due to BT doing an upgrade and getting it wrong
On the Wednesday 13th Aug the bar shut at 9pm.
The double bed was comfortable but not really big enough for two large people. I would recommend the conference center to invest in doubles that can easy convert to twins if need be.
When booking I asked for twin beds to be told on arrival that there are only double beds. We were provided with a put up bed my friend said it was comfortable but the size of the room was meant for a single bit of a squeeze!
The pool and sauna The grounds and location - beautiful park and lakes and great kids play area The little church next door with amazing art & friendly vicar who gave us a tour and told us it's history. Proximity to Avebury Easily accessible from London
Would have appreciated a bigger bed but for one night it was fine.
Beautiful, quiet, location in a large parkland Close (walking distance) to shops Swimming pool and sauna Low cost Clean rooms (with a bath)
No undercover, secure bicycle parking and staff a bit sniffy when I asked where I could leave it suggesting I 'just lock it to a tree'
The whole place needs a 'face lift'...It could be so much more!
The location and the friendly staff. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable but too small.
Thought the whole place needed smartening up - especially the bedrooms. Ok for a work conference centre but not really for a weekend away. The bed was very small and pushed up against the wall.
Excellent in everything
Staff,location,great value for money,wonderful breakfast.
Beds were a bit small
Location was great-close to motorway but away from traffic and traffic noise.
Bedroom had ventilation system outside window which was noisy.
Value for money and location
Staff Breakfast Position Price
Not clear which entrance we should drive in at. As result added at least 4 miles on to journey The staff, although doing their best, seemed overstretched
Beautiful Grounds and clean nice room and friendly staff. But the Best was the price .
Leaving . Had a Great stay
Nothing really to dislike. Handy for transport links - M4, M5.
Swimming pool and park setting
No dining room or bar we could use as all facilities were taken over by noisy wedding party. Very strange arrangements were made for us to eat in a side room, the staff didn't seem to know what was going on and then we were asked to sign for someone else's food!! The hotel is a horrible 1960's add on to a very beautiful building and the bedroom itself was very poor, similar to students hall of residence! The food was okay but expensive, we didn't bother with breakfast as very pricy.
Lovely park behind the facility Great breakfast
Far from city center with little public transportation
The location is good for where I am currently working. The staff are friendly and will try to accommodate all your needs.
Rooms are a bit tired and don't have electronic locks.
Staff were friendly, nice setting, excellent food
Advertised as having Wi-Fi (apparently always down), Freeview (non-existence as no signal, basic four channels jumpy), Sauna (not working)
