I arrived quite late in the evening and although they had just stopped serving food they did provide me with an evening meal within 20 mins of my arrival, I wouldn't have been served that quickly in a 5 star hotel Service in the breakfast room was a little chaotic. |

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere Unable to issue VAT receipts seperately for meals / drinks. Unable to check out before 7.30am. If not very full, restarant was closed and had to eat evening meals in bar area where there were no appropriate tables |

Plain and simple good value for money with no frills. The pool was a welcome touch of luxury after a hard day's work. Good size bed for a single. Nice location in parkland and I enjoyed the Tuesday evening bell practice in the adjacent church. Water temperature very hard to adjust in the shower/bath. No lights in the sauna. |

its setting is very beautiful and the breakfast was good value the walls to the rooms were very thin so you had a lot of noise from the next room i.e: i could hear my neighbour coughing |

The bar and lounge was very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. The grounds were very nice to walk around. |

Very helpful staff in a relaxed atmosphere The sat nav does not recognise the fact that the Lydiard is on estate grounds and therefore takes you to the park which is separated from the house. Post code for the houses before the entrance would be useful. Only one person on in the evening who covers front desk, the bar and serving in the restaurant. Had to wait to be checked in. |

Not a great deal. Upon arrival there was no-one around to check me in, I was waiting more than 15 minutes. The facilites were extremely limited. After travelling many miles over the previous day, i was hoping for an early night. However it seems there is a church bell ringing class between 1930 and 2100 on tuesdays so i could not get to sleep. |
