We liked the seclusion and peaceful surroundings. The room was a good size and and had all that we needed. The location was great for exploring the lovely unspoilt Somerset countryside. Only that the room would benefit from being redecorated. The wallpaper looked a tad "tired". |

the staff were very helpful, i like the idea of the chalets aswell. it was quite far away from everything.. but that had no reflection on how good the hotel was. |

The staff were amazing, we had our dog with us and they all made us (and him) feel so welcome. They really know what customer service is all about. The food was of a very high quality from breakfast to the bar menu - and the restaurant menu and food were beautiful. We will certainly be going back but for longer next time. I can't say enough positive things! My husband even managed to squeeze in an hours snowboarding tuition at last minute! |

The staff were excellent. Very helpful, friendly and welcoming The food was terrible. We ordered chicken ceasar salad, and got what only bore a psssing resemblance which when we complained, were told that it was the 'chefs take' on a ceasar salad. Not what the menu said. |

The location, is underplayed but lovely. There was some kind of generator outside of my window which was very loud, and I need my window open as it was a hot night. Also when I arrived it took a while for someone to come to the front desk! |

Staff attitude and helpfulness were excellent, dining was excellent, bedroom comforts and facilities were excellent, tranquility was excellent, location was excellent. Taking into account its a small lodge, in all, simply using the word 'excellent' sums it all up. WIll return, again and again. |
