It's convenience for the airport - no noisy, plastic hotel for the night. instead I thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening in a beautiful setting with excellent service, a generous sized room with mountain outlook, a delicious meal and the most pleasant and accommodating staff I've encountered since coming to the UK. My car was looked after for the week at a fraction of the cost of long-term car parking and my keys were ready for me on return. Well done, all of you, you run a first-class facility.

The staff were so nice and friendly and helpful , the downstairs of the place was very cosy and welcoming The bedroom was in desperate need of a refurbishment , we were frozen all night so cold we couldnt sleep, the heating was turned off and didnt start to come on until it was time for us to leave so it was very uncomfortable shower ing and dressing

We had a fantastic afternoon and evening at the Hotel. The Woodland Lodge was perfect for us as we had our dog with us, who was made as welcome as we were.

The hotel is near to Bristol Aiport, about 20 minutes to drive. There is a funny ski-slope on brushes with lift and a nice wood-trail to walk. We had a nice evening meal, two course-menue in the restaurant. It was our last evening before departing from uk.

I stay in hotel quite a lot for business and have to say the staff at Lyncombe Lodge were exceptional and they went out of the way to make you feel at home. The food was really superb. The place was really clean and had the right atmosphere. My shower was poor, I mentioned it as I left and the staff said they would get it sorted. I fear there just wasn't enough water pressure as the room must have been far from source. This said, I would stay there again just not in the same room/corridor.

Comfortable Lodge with cosy sourroundings Limited food menu although new chef just recruited promising to make changes. Breakfast at £9.95 seemed steep and should be added to room price of £59.99

The restuarant was wonderful and we enjoyed eating there on both nights of our stay and breakfast on the morning we departed. Lovely food and wine with great staff attending to us. The closet was a little damp smelling so we didn't use it and the radiator in the bathroom leaked a little but this wasn't too terrible and everything else was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Location great. Loved the chalet arrangement. Very private. Food terrific. Staff great. Price was tremendous value (at least for what we paid). Food was reasonably priced for the quality we got. Wine at reasonable prices. Will definitely return. Rooms in need of a bit of a refurb, particularly the bathroom, but still comfortable
