Only downfall wifi password didn't connect to either iPad or iPhone.
The staff were super friendly helped us up with our bags and breaky was yummy x
I loved the whole atmosphere of the house/ room and the view to the see was amazing. The breakfast was very nice. Nice and caring staff.
The friendliness of the landlady and landlord, fantastic sea views, excellent breakfast!
The length of time it took for the shower to get warm...get it running at least 5 mins beforehand :)
Ease of booking
A slight smell of mustyness upon entering the property but the room was fine
The hotel has an excellent location
Daytime parking is a problem
Excellent sea view from our room. Good breakfast and service (even got my husband black pudding in specially!). Would definitely stay there again.
Shower pressure could be better.
A nice 2 day stay, lovely room with a fantastic sea view. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you
Bed was rock hard, pillows like wafer thin, ensuit stank of fags, and so tiny this room was only good for one nights stay. Very noisy traffic
Friendly owners. Choice of breakfast Bottled water and biscuits replemished every day View
Hot water took a while to come through
See side views Central location Excellent breakfast
The breakfast was very good. We were able to leave our cases on the day of leaving
The room and view were lovely, the owner was concerned about the top flight of stairs being steep but that was not a problem.
The air of neglect, the bed was not touched during our stay, plus there was a disclaimer on the wall near the shower stating it can be temperamental due to water pressure problems, what it should have said is this does not work! No matter what time we tried there was never more than a trickle.
The breakfast was good. The location great!
Owners could have been a bit friendlier, we didn't see the lady once! Carpets in rooms need a good clean.
Location - near to town, on sea front
Bed broken and propped up with cushions underneath, water pressure poor (shower didn't work, toilet took 20 mins to refill)
The location was second to non, the view from our room was stunning, overlooking the beach/sea. It was also fairly quiet. Breakfast was very nice aswell.
Place was abit old fashioned in stature, there is no designated parking to the property, just on street or surrounding areas which do have parking restrictions in the daytime, ok throughout the evening to morning though. Parking charges were quite reasonable if you had to use a car park in the day.
Tea facilities, the owners were very laid back and let us in and out as we please, lovely cooked breakfast and perfect location!
Bit cold in the bedroom in the evenings and we couldnt get the shower to warm up when needed. I think we just need a little bit of showing around eg where to eat breakfast we were a bit unsure the first morning.
I booked the attic bedroom for the sea view and it was exceptional. It looked like the room had just been freshly decorated. The breakfast was lovely! The bed was amazingly comfortable.
While the bedroom had just been decorated, the carpet and the rug had not been changed and looked grubby. I cheered when I read 'no pets allowed' as my boyfriend is allergic, so we were incredibly disappointed that they are only banned as their is a huge dog that lives there.
The location is great, with it being right on the sea front. It is a nice walk to the town and harbour across the beach. The staff were very friendly and the bed in our room was very comfortable. A good choice of breakfast.
The shower was very disappointing, the power was poor it was more like a dribble. The heat also went from hot to cold every so often. Our room was in the loft so we didn't have much space, and the Wi-fi didn't work for us. This is a good place to stay for a few nights but probably wouldn't spend more than a week there.
Very nice couple made very welcome ,excellent breakfast
Nice breakfast & pleasant staff. Bed clean & comfortable, soft towels. Good location.
Booked a small room, but this was really tiny. Bathroom possibly 6ft by 3ft. Water pressure very poor, shower went hot & cold at random. Whole place smelled stale & was very tatty. Awful view of backyards from window & constant traffic noise. Wardrobe falling apart.
a few yards from the beach, no roads to cross to get to the beach, not too much noise apart from seagulls, good breakfast, nice owners.
Parking was a challenge, during the day we had to move the car a few times. Our room was in the attic which meant it was incredibly hot, and it was a long trek back upstairs when you have forgotten your car keys.
i loved where the bb was located, the instant i saw the view.First impressions, loved the room.We were really fortunate. lovely view of the sea.The owners and staff were very frieindly.Loved it.
Friendly, great location
Parking is an issue
