See side views Central location Excellent breakfast
The breakfast was very good. We were able to leave our cases on the day of leaving
The room and view were lovely, the owner was concerned about the top flight of stairs being steep but that was not a problem.
The air of neglect, the bed was not touched during our stay, plus there was a disclaimer on the wall near the shower stating it can be temperamental due to water pressure problems, what it should have said is this does not work! No matter what time we tried there was never more than a trickle.
Location - near to town, on sea front
Bed broken and propped up with cushions underneath, water pressure poor (shower didn't work, toilet took 20 mins to refill)
The location was second to non, the view from our room was stunning, overlooking the beach/sea. It was also fairly quiet. Breakfast was very nice aswell.
Place was abit old fashioned in stature, there is no designated parking to the property, just on street or surrounding areas which do have parking restrictions in the daytime, ok throughout the evening to morning though. Parking charges were quite reasonable if you had to use a car park in the day.
Tea facilities, the owners were very laid back and let us in and out as we please, lovely cooked breakfast and perfect location!
Bit cold in the bedroom in the evenings and we couldnt get the shower to warm up when needed. I think we just need a little bit of showing around eg where to eat breakfast we were a bit unsure the first morning.
I booked the attic bedroom for the sea view and it was exceptional. It looked like the room had just been freshly decorated. The breakfast was lovely! The bed was amazingly comfortable.
While the bedroom had just been decorated, the carpet and the rug had not been changed and looked grubby. I cheered when I read 'no pets allowed' as my boyfriend is allergic, so we were incredibly disappointed that they are only banned as their is a huge dog that lives there.
The location is great, with it being right on the sea front. It is a nice walk to the town and harbour across the beach. The staff were very friendly and the bed in our room was very comfortable. A good choice of breakfast.
The shower was very disappointing, the power was poor it was more like a dribble. The heat also went from hot to cold every so often. Our room was in the loft so we didn't have much space, and the Wi-fi didn't work for us. This is a good place to stay for a few nights but probably wouldn't spend more than a week there.
Very nice couple made very welcome ,excellent breakfast
Nice breakfast & pleasant staff. Bed clean & comfortable, soft towels. Good location.
Booked a small room, but this was really tiny. Bathroom possibly 6ft by 3ft. Water pressure very poor, shower went hot & cold at random. Whole place smelled stale & was very tatty. Awful view of backyards from window & constant traffic noise. Wardrobe falling apart.
a few yards from the beach, no roads to cross to get to the beach, not too much noise apart from seagulls, good breakfast, nice owners.
Parking was a challenge, during the day we had to move the car a few times. Our room was in the attic which meant it was incredibly hot, and it was a long trek back upstairs when you have forgotten your car keys.
i loved where the bb was located, the instant i saw the view.First impressions, loved the room.We were really fortunate. lovely view of the sea.The owners and staff were very frieindly.Loved it.
Friendly, great location
Parking is an issue
Dirt on legs of chairs looks like they avnt been clear for years we wiped some dust off with tissue and left it on chair.the stairs to get to no6 is a joke every one that stayed there commented on it.breakfast from 8.30 till 9 wats that all about.oners never mingled
Excellent breakfast, large room,
Not Modern and in need of decoration. Owners were reserved but not unfriendly. Quite expensive and poorly advertised, re-scheduled armed forces day made parking difficult.
This is the sixth time I've stayed here ! The location is amazing and we love to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The owners are friendly and welcoming and provide a delicious cooked breakfast.
We loved the view of the sea from our bed and the room was pleasantly light and spacious. We were on a quiet stretch of road with low traffic but could easily walk to the river mouth and harbour, as well as enjoying the seafront outside our door.
The shower and toilet were very small. I would not particularly recommend the top floor as the steps got very steep and the room was small. However, our room on the 2nd floor was excellent.
Good location-close to centre but in a quiet area Friendly staff Comfy bed
Shower - temperature wasn't good- either hot or cold Nothing else as was all good
Location is great, sea is just 10m away. Sea view and sound of waves is just amazing. Double bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast too. Lovely dog and nice chairs right in front of the hotel.
Hot water tap was slightly broken, but still functional and we were instructed about that by the owner, can't complain, didn't affect our stay. Wireless signal was poor in the top floor room.
The owners were very thoughtful regarding our toddler and moved us to a more suitable room at no extra cost. The sea view was fantastic and the sound of the waves very relaxing.
Ocean view was great. Very cozy attic room where the sound of the surf, wind and rain was very relaxing.
Teeny tiny spiral stairs were a bit scary. Feel like 50 quid was too much. Wish I would have waited to book there. Shoulder season, and the whole beach is lined with hotels with vacancy signs. Probably could have gotten a much better room for that rate.
The position is amazing-just across a quiet road to the beach and a short walk along the prom. to town. It's very comfortable with a delicious freshly cooked breakfast and a warm welcome. Need to move the car at 10am.
Great Location Friendly Staff Good food
lovely breakfast .view amazing.
