Friendly Manager and Staff Excellent bar and dining room Clean and comfortable Would definitely go back
Very professional owner - probably brought up on silver service? But could not fault welcome and hospitality. All the staff we met were the same. They even booked us a taxi to go out to another pub on one evening! Excellent restaurant - Thai food really good and breakfasts well cooked and plenty of choice, I would think to suit all tastes. Room clean and comfortable and probably the warmest hotel we have stayed in.
Only staying for a weekend! Better choice of beer would be good but not a real criticism.
Helpful manager and competitively priced .
Very tired and dated decor, creaky bed, broken shower door and able to hear other guests despite the door being closed.
They accepted dogs. Breakfast was good
Closing the bar each night at 2200hrs without telling the guests! The green Mold in the single room
Location ,once I found it Very friendly staff and a good restaurant
The shower was very small
Staff and the Thai restaurant is lovely. Easy and free parking. Only 40 mins away from the middle of Snowdonia.
No shower curtain in the bathroom.
The Room was comfy & clean. The bar facility was excellent and so was the breakfast.
There wasn't much drawer space in the double room (5), and it would have been nice to have had a hair dryer. It would also be more convenient to be able to turn the bedside lights off at the light rather than having to get out of bed to switch them off. A shelf in the bathroom would help.
In general I & my wife were generally impressed by the hotel, which in my opinion exceeded its 2 star rating. The hotel is dog friendly & our little dog was made to feel like a guest, with two bonus sausages at breakfast every morning during our stay. The rooms were extremely clean and our tea bar was topped up every day, along with clean towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was varied and freshly cooked which is a change. The owners are very friendly & most welcoming, service of the highest quality.
The only comment here are as follows, perhaps the heating could come on a little earlier in the evening. My final comment is I wish the bathroom had a better shower facility. However these are only minor points in relation to the hotel in general. The hotel is worthy of its 2 stars.
Thai food for tea was great they couldn't do more for us
Maybe update the bedding but that's it x
The hotel is at a very good location with excellent views of the sea from the room. Decent size room with very basic facilities. The owner is very friendly and helpful and he helped us with details of the places to visit around the area. Parking space available.
No shower was available in our room, we asked for a mug at least (which we were provided). No lift / escalator. No phone facilities in the room
Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything we needed for two nights, clean simple room, good breakfast; leaflets and some more info about the area. Very quiet room. Had good night sleep.
Friendly staff, room with seaview, easy parking, good breakfast
Breakfast was nice.
No water for over an hour in the morning before breakfast. Shower head needs to be on the wall with a shower curtain or screen.
We were able to take our dogs
A little outdated
The staff was welcoming and very friendly. The Thai Restaurant at the hotel offers vert tasty dishes and the service was excellent. A peacefuly hotel that offers everything you need. Our room had beatiful views of the seaside.
The decoration in the rooms is dated and the shower facilities weren't very comfortable.
The room was very dated the beds where clean and there was fresh towels left on the bed but there was towels hanging in the bathroom that looked like they had been used previously. The cups in the room where dirty . The bar was very expensive 2 drinks cost £7 and down the road at the next bar they where £5.40 . We thought that breakfast was not too bad until we got a slice of toast with blue mould that just put us right off finishing it.
Ease of getting to. Access to town and beach. good value
Nothing jumps to mind
food Thai very good
good value, lovely thai restaurant
Very friendly and clean
Clean, welcoming and a good breakfast.
Basic facilities but you get what you pay for.
Very impressed with the quality and range of Thai food choices both starters and mains, highly recommend. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy reach to Old Colwyn and main town center.
friendly staff, very clean and comfy room.. fantastic thai food in the restaurant , could not fault our stay in any way, would stay again if in the area, special thank you to Pam .
Staff very helpful and chatty,Breakfast was very well cooked, rooms clean and comfortable and clowie enjoyed the sausage every morning.
The bathroom in the room was very small, and there was no fixing for the shower head which made it difficult to shower in the morning.
