Great breakfast and lots of hot water. Friendly staff.
Very uncomfortable bed and only basic amenities, not the best part of town. Obviously no recent renovations, old smell to the room and hotel.
Had asked for upper storey room was given room which was dirty and totally unsatisfactory had bedside lamp but nowhere to plug in headboard of bed fell off bed then asked for change of room which was given. Reception staff seemed to be more interested in computer that guests most times never even lifted head to acknowledge guests going in/out. On last day found female staff member who had returned that day from sickness to be extremely nice, helpful and friendly.
Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and beautifully cooked. Located next to a sensational Italian restaurant.
The breakfast was excellent Plenty to eat
We didn't really dislike anything
The breakfast was good, staff are very friendly
No porridge available for one of our family, showers difficult to get right temperature & pressure, en-suites very tiny & uncomfortable, kettles to big for rooms, not able to fill properly in wash hand basin, TV remote did not work properly as had to place around with batteries in remote, this hotel is in serious need of upgrade but was ok for one night stay over, please book an appointment with Miss politzy you need help
Very handy for the front and for the shops, a good position. Paul the owner was very helpful.
Would have been a bit easier for parking if the owners were to inform guests of how to park, not a lot of room and a few cars made it hard to get in and out of car as they took more room that they needed. We went in winter and found the room a bit cold and had to sit around with our jumpers on as you could not control the heat in the room and the radiator was cold most of the stay, when it was on it was not very warm.
Staff were very helpful, breakfast was very nice, cooked fresh & nothing was too much trouble
Lift was out of order, which was the only reason why i booked as we took my elderly parents
The staff was very friendly and very helpful the bed was very comfortable and was excellent being able to park the car right outside the door and great location for us
The toilet/shower room was small if the sink was smaller it would have been better and the pressure in the toilet was low it didnt flush properly and took an age to refill other than that great room
The Langtry is a homely and comfortable hotel, accessible (it has a lift) and in an excellent location, beside both the shops and the sea. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast excellent. I have stayed there twice now and both times been very happy; I look forward to staying again.
My room was a good size but the bathroom a bit of a squeeze.
Did not sleep at all as situated next to the Lquid Lounge Bar on the Seafront and had some lads slamming doors in the one floor allocated. Should have a refund as missed important emails as Wifi would not connect to my iPhone or laptop!! Arrived at my meeting totally exhausted. Only lady on front desk told us an excellent restaurant to eat and was very polite.
Everything we had a very injoyable stay an we intend to return in the future
We loved it an will recommend it to our friends an family
Breakfast was great staff friendly and very helpful
The staff made this hotel. They were friendly, accommodating and I would stay here again.
The breakfast was freshly cooked
Shower in very small space and dripping.
Rooms too small all needs updating lift broken was wiv elderly couple whi found the stairs difficult
Breakfast was good.
Not worth the money and needs updating in the bedrooms, get in the hotel inspector.
Friendly staff, good cooked breakfast, comfy room
Lounge was comfortable
Very Budget type hotel, small rooms
i liked the fact that the hotel was near cafes and shops so you didn't had to walk so far.
i had a bit of a problem with the shower unit in the bathroom from where the water was too hot and you could not adjust the water temperature which was quite annoying.

A fabulous breakfast, and right next to a superb Italian restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the room was vey comfortable. we were not expecting very much given that we were only paying for a budget room and breakfast for one night, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found that it was a lovely bright and very warm place. A credit to the owner and staff.
The ensuite bathroom was tiny and almost unmanageable however it was functional.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast day one was not as good as day two.
