In a quiet part of East Cliff, this clean, friendly hotel is just a short walk from Bournemouth's beaches and town center. It has spacious rooms, a restaurant, a vibrant bar and free parking.
Score from 1343 reviews Very good
Good location, great staff, great complimentary continental breakfast, nice and comfortable bed, like bathroom & toilet cleanness, extra towels, pillows all was perfect what I needed.
The breakfast room and the layout of the rooms were good
The floor tiles in our room leaked water when standing on a couple of them. There was a fusty damp smell whenever we went back and the plug in the sink got stuck. Had we stayed longer we would have reported this to staff.
Not a lot
The beds. The location The very small bathroom. The very limited breakfast time window. More like a B 7 B Hostel
Spaceous bedroom Bath in bathroom Comfortable beds
no real coffee at breakfast, only instant! Quite a small breakfast room & places to sit limited.
The staff were friendly and the room was a good size. Was a good location close to the town and the beach
The cleanliness of the room was poor. Whilst the bed sheet and pillowcase was clean, the duvets were covered in stains. The floors and skirting boards were very dirty, & the walls were covered with dirty marks. When we moved a bed it was visable that they were not moved when cleaned. The fixtures and fittings in the room were rusty and old and need relaxing. The tv remotes were caked in dirt. I know the hotel is a budget hotel but it should still be clean
Location OK, Breakfast fair, but OK Cleaning could be better... All in all OK for Price...
They try, by signs, to make guest care for guests trying to sleep, signs do not work... Loud talk, doors slaming, jumping on steps all night long...
The room was quite small for a double. The TV was too high. No tea/coffee facilities in room although you could go to the breakfast room and make some.
Lovely staff and cleanliness
We stayed in ground floor room which was very noisy due to the family above.
Close to beach
Breakfast - no cooked food just toast and cereal
The location of the "hotel" was ecxellent. Just a few minutes away from the Beach and City Centre, the nearest bus transport is reachable in 2 minutes.
The Lynden Court is not worth to be called a real hotel. The room we stayed in was dirty and loud and the furniture especially in the bathroom was battered. The breakfast was nothing special but okay toast, joghurt and cornflakes were served. There was no real room service so that one member of staff gave us a hoover to clean our room by our selves after asking about the room cleaning.
Location is good, breakfast was ok. Staff friendly and helpful.
Creaky bunk beds kept us awake and doors banging through the night. I would not recommend for families, more like for people out for the night clubbing.
good location, lovely polite staff, right near sea front, short walk to the pier, bedrooms reasonably priced
beds where bit creaky
friendly staff, great value, great location
no kettle in room
I was disappointed there wasn't a kettle in the room.
Friendly staff, clean towels everyday.
Beds not made in 4 nights, no texactly a hotel, had to help ourselves to breakfast as we were out before 8 every morning the same as lots of other guests, 2 mornings no juice, 1 litre of orange and 1 litre of apple does not serve 20 odd guests for 2 days!!! i morning no butter, another no jam, we did inform them about all the above but did not make a lot of difference. The rest of the street is full of nice hotels.
Excellent hotel, close to beach and other facilities auch as town and places to eat. Child friendly, really pleasant staff. Affordable and pleasant experience, second visit and would stay at this hotel again
OK, I booked for 2 adults with a child to be put in a room.with two sets of bunk beds! The door to our room didn't feel very secure at all. The floors was sticky, toilet roll supplied was the cheapest of the cheapest. taps was on the wrong way round. tv was in a non viewing height unless.you all sat on the top bunk. hotel stunk of curry :'( No friendly staff to see how the stay was. breakfast only 8-9 so missed it both days. could maybe do breakfast 8-10?? This sort of hotel is ok for a late night stay with your drunk friends NOT RECOMMENDED FOR STAYING WITH A LOVE ONE OR YOUR FAMILY !!!
there was god about the place at all
Early check out and breakfast was nothing great.times were incovenient. Parking charged.
Like how close to the beach and that could use car park even after checked out
Staff friendly, great location close to sea side and shops.
wifi didnt work even I had to pay for the password but couldnt get the wifi.
The staff were outstanding. We've never been to a place where the staff couldn't do enough to please you. Accommodation was very comfortable when you consider the price you've paid- cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Excellent location; minutes from the beach and shops round the corner.
Parking spaces were very tight.
Bunk beds in family rooms
Nothing. After seeing the room - we left. It said recently refurbished. Possibly 20 years ago.
All of it. It was dirty and there was holes in the walls. All furniture needed throwing away. Bath was chipped in several places. The floor was more than worn out.
It was goos as it was right by the pier and suited to be in a group of friends
