The close proximity to the town centre and the extremely well-stocked kitchen. On-street free parking.

The "24 hour central heating" did not work. Major problems in opening the safe to actually get the front door key! Not enough bedding provided - very cold although if we had been able to get the heating working this perhaps would not have been too much of a problem. Could not remove the shower from the taps in the bathroom - therefore unable to have a bath.

Friendly and helpful proprietors. Cosy and comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Slight noise from upstairs but not too intrusive

Lovely warm rooms as the heating was on 24/7. Everything that you needed was supplied to be able to cook both breakfast and a Sunday roast (we did both). Very clean and the best bits for me was free Wifi and being able to take my dog Lucy with us

The living area could do with having a table lamp, so you don't have to put the harsh strip light on at night while watching Tv

Difficult to find rear apartment at first, but once found there were no further issues

Noise in the morning ,not everyone wants to wake early when on holiday,and ground floor flat had 3 entrances to front reception area which means a lot of noise

Price and Location

I liked that the location was very close to the sea front and the town centre.

I found cockroaches in my room and was having to kill them which was unpleasant.

The apartments as stated at booking superior, hardily. After our grandson cut his foot on glass on the floor. We had only a dustpan and brush, but we cleaned up half a pan of glass / sand pins and dirt. When we turned the lights on three lights not working. After the lights where on for power whent off, and as no one is on site for help I had to phone. I was first told to put money in a meter that was behind a chair. The next day they did clean a bit more, and reimburse me for money I put in meter. The staff are good, but the apartments are of poor and very old decor. The toilet dose not have a basin in it. Not to building Regs. On the whole not very good

Centrally situated and the appartment had everything you needed.Had the garden appartment, so your entrance was onto a very sunny lawned area

Nothing major, the cooker took 45 mins to cook a pizza and the shower was very small, but thats just nit picking.

Friendly staff. Good service when we asked for another lightbulb. Fully equipped. Excellent location.

The only negative is that the decor is a bit dated and possibly in the room we stayed in a bed settee could be put in the lounge instead of a single bed as the room was advertised for 4 people but there were only armchairs for 2. However, they are really minor negatives.

The Lyndene apartments are a great base for a holiday by the sea. We first chose the Lyndene because we wanted to holiday with our two pets and found the management most accomodating. The apartments themselves are clean and tidy, the staff very helpful and to say the apartments are pet friendly there is no evidence of pets (dogs) having been there. I would definitely use these apartments again. Clean and basic. Great location. Friendly staff.
