Yvonne, the owner, is very helpful and gave us lots of assistance regarding places to go in the area. The room was clean, overlooking the River Kent and quiet. The breakfast was excellent.
The WIFI didn't work for me but did for my partner so it could have been a problem with the signal. Otherwise everything was excellent
very pleasantly welcomed.
Great staff, excellent food, very comfortable
Very helpful caring staff. Very peaceful and homely. Breakfast excellent.
The personal touch and very happy and helpful landlady made are short stay very enjoyable, not to mention the wonderful breakfast
There isn't anything not to like
The Hostess, who made us feel more than welcome, with a comfy bed, homemade delicious food and friendly chat. There was personalisation, all the way through the B&B, which added to the relaxed and friendly manner. We would reccommend Yvonne anytime!
The warmth of the greeting and the hospitatlity shown to me during my stay. The location was great for accessing the town centre and the major routes in and out of Kendal. Peace and quiet.
Very organised, clean, convenient, value for money, good food, very friendly and flexible on arrival

nothing considering the price
The very kind and "crasy" landlady whith her humor.
The little lamp at the bedside and the shower did not work.
Yvonne very friendly and accommodating.
Room was a bit dusty so I couldn't stop sneezing when I woke up!
Lovely, comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. Our room was really nice and cosy. Yvonne is a lovely lady and her homemade cakes and biscuits are beautiful. Breakfast was really good and Yvonne's homemade yoghurt is fantastic. Will definitely be returning to this lovely guest house again. PS. Scout is adorable.
Surprise cake on arrival, free wifi, owner was lovely, friendly and has a very cute dog.
The landlady (Yvonne) is funny, accommodating and helpful. The guesthouse is very close to town, next to the river. Free parking, free wifi and a piece of homemade cake on arrival!
Friendly and helpful staff
Yvonne is not the average landlady. She's witty, effervescent and NOTHING is too much trouble. She suggests where to go in Kendal, remembers your name, provides fresh milk in the rooms, and these are just some of the ways she makes you welcome. Her staff are just as good!
We had to come home!
Excellent breakfast. Whilst the room was not large, it was comfortable and the landlady is very welcoming. Great value for money and very handy for Kendal town centre.
owner paid attention to detail. gave a small gift on checking out. She loves to crochet and samples are used around the house.
From the minute we walked through the door, our host yvonne made a fuss of us and made us feel so welcome, a lovely, friendly lady with comfortable accomodation and a cracking breakfast!
In all honesty, nothing to dislike.
Welcome from Yvonne who explained everything to us. Provided with map on arrival and 2 presents when we left - you need to go to find out what they were! Fab breakfast.
Not much water pressure in tap or shower but we managed.
The host and breakfast
Yvonne is so welcoming and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed really comfy and the breakfasts very filling and delicious! The home made cakes and cookies were a nice thoughtful touch. I will definitely be staying here again!
