The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely sea view Very cheesey eighties background music playing at breakfast. The decor could do with updating. |

Lovely position overlooking the beach. Nice balcony and pretty flowers. Short walk along the seafront to St Aubin with a wide choice of restaurants. |

The Lyndhurst is small family run and the proprieters of the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was great, very hot presented well and couldn't have been better. We felt that the guesthouse would benefit from a general decor update, and that the stairs really needed thinking about....they were quite steep and difficult for older clientel.The chest of drawers in our room was so flimsy that it wasn't really of a strong enough make to withstand the use. Little things, but they actually make quite a difference to the overall picture of a place. |

Staff tried best to accommodate us. Breakfast fine. If you like soft beds go here. Bed very uncomfortable far too soft for me - springs could be felt. fixtures in room not fixed properly. room smelt damp. only one of us slept. |

Welcomed by genial host who assisted with luggage retrieval and placement, and then proceeded to act as our local tourist information - which was particularly useful by explaining the parking arrangements on the island and conveniently having parking vouchers available for sale. The stairs are quite steep in this hotel. Whilst I found this fine, it might not suit some. People with mobility issues might find this hotel quite a challenge. |

Very welcoming proprietor and friendly staff. No parking on site, bar/lounge was closed even though both facilities were advertised as available. Extremely steep, narrow stairs to the rooms (not suitable for young children or those with limited mobility). Decor dated. Bathrooms sub standard - no baths in a family room. Water pressure non existent. Shame as location is beautiful. |

Breakfast was excellent - it warmed us up! The two rooms we booked were both freezing cold with little or no heat in the radiators. In our room the electric fire did not work. Also we could not get the shower to run warm |

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was only between 8.30 and 9.00 am. This is a very short timespan. It would have been nicer to be able to have a later and more leisurely time on the Sunday. The staircase is very narrow and could cause problems for more mature guests. |

The owners but nothing else The bathroom was dreadful. One tap not working properly, everything very, very dated and in need of a major refit. Beds poor. Stairs to upper floors steep, narrow, very difficult if carrying bags. Noisy road v. difficult to cross to parking lot. |

Properheid, gastvrijheid, informatieverstrekking, ontbijt waren voortreffelijk. De locatie ligt aan een doorgaande weg. De geluidsisolatie van de kamers aan de zeekant zou geoptimaliseerd moeten worden. Te rumoerig. |

l'ambiance très "britannique", dépaysante - un bon rapport qualité prix pour une famille avec enfants - hôtel très bien situé proche de Port St Aubin personnel peut-être trop peu présent, peu de contacts et d'échanges |
