On the banks of the Avon River, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views of the countryside surrounding Bath. It is on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907.

Shower was a tad small, really the only nit-picky downfall to a great property
Ideal location! Central but quiet Extremely friendly staff Complimentary parking, quick and easy Clean and cute
Hot water restricted at times. Noisy saniflo loo.
Room size was fabulous. Reasonable facilities in room
I loved the comfort of the room and the en-suite shower and wash basin. It was easy for me to get to both the station and the town centre on foot.
Perfect location - friendly staff - will be returning
Location was 5 minute walk into bath. Christian was helpful and gave us lots of ideas of things to do and a list of places to eat at. Room was comfortable and clean. There was a small shared fridge available too. Wifi worked well too.
My only reservation was the quality of the pillows. The bed was fine, but the pillows seemed rather hard. (It's an individual thing of course!)
I liked the room, which was simply and freshly decorated, quite large enough for one person, and which had a lovely view over Bath. I also liked the position, which was close to the centre but in a quiet road.
Location, quietness and price. Helpful welcoming owners.
That notable issue.... a couple of hairs found under my duvet when I pulled that back but easily rectified but something for Lynwood to be mindful of. The toilet being separated down the corridor was fine during the day but became annoying at night as I had to remember in the middle of the night to put the latch on or take the key incase I got locked out... but I was aware of this before booking so can't really complain.
Located in a reasonably quiet part of Bath not far from town which is perfect. The staff are helpful and polite, very accomodating particularly with my late check in. For the most part the level of cleanliness was high except one notable issue but dissmissable considering I had no other issues. On the whole, good value for money I think.
everything was great no lift if on a higher floor but the view is worth it
short walk into town easy to get around, the town is very interesting
Got bitten by something, there was over 20 bites on my arm, face, leg, hands and feet, red and itchy.
Location. Friendly owner.
Quiet location 10mins outside city centre, helpful and knowledgable owners, free parking
The bathroom is separated from my room.
Mattress/pillows not really up to hotel standards, noisy toilet and the shaving light didn't work
Perfect location for walking to central Bath, spacious room and free wifi
Bed was a little bit hard
Very cosy single bedroom, nicely decorated, had a really homely feel. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shower and sink were in the bedroom and that it was just the toilet that was in a separate room.
Couldn't have asked for more, friendly and helpful couple who own it, and such a great location we parked the car on arrival and didn't even go near it for the whole trip! Such a lovely place am planning another trip at Xmas :-)
Warm welcome, great location, parking, nice room and great value
Very handy location. Owners very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable room.
The location was perfect as it was a very short walk from the centre of bath meaning we could pop in and out as we pleased. The facilities were beautiful and well kept. Felt very sercure and right at home. Would recommend highly as it also good value for money!
Sensitive types may notice the traffic noise outside. Door closers are noisy. Using shared toilets with no handbasin may not be for everyone. I used alcohol gel.
I had a very pleasant stay in a comfortable bed with attentive owners, at a good price. I was fine with all the facilities and will definitely choose this place again. It was clean, tidy, warm and secure, and was near a little Sainsburys to get supplies for breakfast.
Clean comfortable and very helpful friendly staff, great location would recommend.
No breakfast. But Lynwood House did provide a good breakfast guide.
Excellent location, helpful staff and clean and comfy room. We had a great time.
No complaints whatsoever
Clean, friendly, welcoming, excellent value for money, and with guides to restaurants written by former guests. The landlord was also very friendly and informative. Would recommend Lynwood to anyone
Room was unclean, dust and layers of dirt was unacceptable in my opinion. Generally the room was shabby.
Comfort of bed was poor. Bathroom small, Saniflo toliet very noisy.Bathroom mats poor quality and frayed. Curtains very dusty at the top when drawn.
Very quiet premises.
