Loved the goats, chickens and hot tub. Was so nice being in the hot tub at night looking out and seeing all the lights from towns below and also lovely in the morning watching the goats and chickens. Had privacy curtains around the hot tub too. Was really good soundproof in the rooms too barely could tell anyone was next to us.

Very clean, comfortable and near the main high street. Easy to park.
Beautiful location. If you enjoy walks then the park and beach over the road will not disappoint. Locals where friendly. Shops locally and take aways also. Family pub just down the road, does allowe dogs outside but not inside so we didn't go in there.
We didn't go into the town centre, didn't need to.

Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm!
Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm! As soon as you step out of the train, you can feel the difference! The air is clean! People are lovely and friendly! Oh and the beach is so breathtaking! Not much entertainment if you have very active kids like mine but if you go when the weather is nice then the beach will keep them busy for the whole day!

Pleasant, but possibly a little old fashioned for younger visitors. Lovely wide and sandy beaches. Beautiful villages and countryside behind Prestatyn, great for walkers and cyclists, and Prestatyn is a good start for visiting historic North Wales.

Staff were not interested in selling caravans, was unable to purchase a meal in the main venue because we did not prebook. We weren't informed of this before hand so we left the following morning disappointed. Hopefully you will learn from this I worked for Borne Leisure years ago so I know how to treat patrons.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car.
A great destination if you don't want to take the car. The town centre and beach are a short walk from the train station. There are direct trains to London, Manchester, Birmingham... The seafront has lots of stuff for rain or shine (beach with good sand, a soft play centre an indoor swimming pool, a playground, cafés and restaurants). We had a lovely time.
The old wash house is central to everywhere, with the beach a 5 minute walk away and Rhyl a 10 minute drive down the road! It is the perfect location for a north wales holiday!
All of the facilities are brilliant. Everything you could possibly need is right at your finger tips (including a well stocked snack jar with nibbles and hot chocolate!)
Lyz greeted my partner and i with a very warm welcome, giving us all the information we could possibly need. She is a wonderful host and we will definitely be booking again!
What a wonderful find. A beautifully furnished, well equipped apartment. We loved the comfortable bed, amazing shower, fully equipped modern kitchen and the great living and dining area. Catherine is a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and her instructions for check- in and how to use the shower,, heating, appliances etc are so well done and easy to follow. I would absolutely recommend Catherine's apartment and look forward to staying again next time we're in Prestatyn.
Lovely cottage in a quiet hillside area with superb views across prestatyn and the north wales coast. Close to beautiful walks & beaches (we loved Talacre beach & dunes just 10 mins away). Everything we needed for a short winter break! Nice and warm, cosy and great facilities. Good communication from the owners who were awesome enough to let us check in early. Overall, an amazing & stress free short break in a beautiful place. Would definitely stay again.
Very clean and comfortable bungalow. Garden safe for the dog and garden furniture available to relax. The hot tub was a bonus.
The bungalow is in a residential road located back from the main road and as bedrooms located on the back of the property it was quiet enough for sleeping. A short walk to the beach but also conveniently located to go to other North Wales resorts by car.
There is a shop, pub and fish and chip shop just a few minutes walk away
The house is newly decorated and very clean. It is in a quiet residential area and is in walking distance to Prestatyn shops and railway station. The beds in all rooms are very comfortable, and there is plenty of space in all the rooms for a large family to stay. There are 2 tvs and 2 very modern bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook and there is a very nice enclosed garden. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
We loved everything about The Old Wash House and location. Very snug and cozy. All the facilities were very conveniently placed and everything you could need for a peaceful stay.
Lyz was friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and the location was perfectly convenient for the town centre, beach local convenience store and train station.
A very dog friendly area with beautiful walks being an extra bonus.
The location was awesome. Right next to the beach and our room had an awesome view. Breakfast was good with nice choices. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Its situated 200 yards from Pontins which where the festival we attending was happening. Everything for shopping was literally a 5 minute drive away. Would I stay here again if I was going to the festival again, yes I would.
Convenient location near Prestatyn with a good car park;
Pleasant spacious room with desk and sitting area;
Good shower room and ample provision for tea-&-coffee.
The breakfast was excellent, served with real care and
attention to detail by very friendly and welcoming staff.
It was a most enjoyable few days and I look forward to
returning in the future. Thank you.
My expectations were for a budget hotel , no frills and that's what I got!
If you are looking for bells and whistles , look elsewhere . The room was clean , the bed was ok , I slept well enough and the breakfast was good. There is parking , there is a pub , there is wifi, everything I needed for a very brief visit to North Wales.
The chalet was great, it was quiet, we were able to relax, dog friendly minutes from the beach, had a meal at the hotel on the terrace which was very nice, the chalet itself had a fridge freezer sink and basic cooking facilities. Al in all very enjoyable
Breakfast items left for us was nice touch. Bread, milk, cereals and croissants along with tea and coffee. Location is great for going in to Prestatyn and Rhyl literally a 5 minute drive and the views from property were stunning. Would stay again!
Delightful, clean, and very comfortable apartment ideally located for our visit. Host extremely helpful, available without being intrusive. A perfect base from which to go out and catch up with family at different locations around Prestatyn.
Location was great, virtually on the beach and pleasant to look out on from our room. The sauna was also ok and proximity to shopping location/restaurant etc. was good. We also liked the terrain and mountain behind the hotel.
Top quality, better than a 5stars hotel, the host was very friendly and welcoming (breakfast ready, milk in the fridge, shower gel, clean beddings and towels) Amazing sunset 🌅, crescent 🌙 and sea 🌊 view
Very nice place. Lovely, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to the beach, shopping park and to explore North Wales. Responsible host, great communication. Good value for money.
