The location was excellent. It was comfortable quiet and peaceful with good facilities. The room was well prepared and had everything that you would expect to help provide a comfortable stay. We felt that it was unreasonable for a member of staff to tell us to leave the dining room curtly at 10.00 on Sunday when the last orders were only taken at 9.30. |

Lovely breakfast ! Efficient, attentive staff. Loved the high ceiling lounge , wooden floors, decor and floral arrangements. I personally found the standard double bed too small. Next time we'll book a twin room to get that extra comfort. Busy road location.not wonderful. |

The position of the hotel was ideal for looking around the Montpellier area, and it was convenient to have parking available at no extra cost, as it can be hard to park in Cheltenham.The public areas were very pleasant, and it was nice to have a lounge and an honesty bar available, as we were there with friends.The breakfast was exeptionally good, with tables set beautifully, a good range of fresh fruit and cereals and a very good cooked breakfast. The quality crockery added to the pleasant dining experience. As we were staying in one of the cheaper rooms, we found this room to be rather small, and the sloping roof caused problems on more that one occasion for my husband who banged his head several times.This room would not have been suitable if we had intended staying for more than one night. We were informed by the hotel that we would be in one of the top floor rooms, so we were expecting it to be of a different standard to the other rooms.The more expensive rooms would have been a pleasure to stay in. As we arrived in the dark, I had to park up in darkness. I was very lucky not to have reversed down a drop which was not apparant in the poor light, and which would have caused damage to my car had I been unfortunate enough to have reversed any |

We have never been so pampered as we were at the Lypiatt House. Robert and his wife were very cordial and it was a most pleasant stay. Close to restaurants and the surrounding Cotswalds. |

Good, clean, friendly, quiet, close to the town centre, parking on site, ideal position for events in Cheltenham. Lots of stairs,you need to be fit for the rooms on the top floor. |

The hotel was absolutely lovely, small and friendly. the hosts were very welcoming and our rooms were spacious and spotless. We had everything we needed. Breakfasts were delicious but the icing on the cake was the location and the ability to walk to the centre of Cheltenham in under 10 minutes. We will definitely be going back next year. |

A lovely welcoming place. The manager was very friendly and helpful, as where the cleaning staff on sunday morning when I checked out. You almost feel like you are staying at someones house. Beautiful antiques around the place give a relaxing atmosphere. Quiet location and perfect for the many boutique shops and restauarants that are two minute walk away. It was a first stay here for me but I'm taking friends back with me next month for another visit and to stay here. |

We received a very warm welcome and were delighted with the comfort of our room, though being in the eaves we both regularly bumped our heads on the ceiling. The location was perfect and it was wonderful not to have to worry about parking. |

That after a very bad start (see below) and an apology, all went well. When we arrived, it was denied that we had a booking, despite the confirmatory e-mail I was holding! The member of staff who greeted us was hopeless, the owner was quite rude at that point, it all seemed to be my fault. However, he subsequently 'found' us on the system, and it appears it was the fault of your agency - somehow. We did not get the bath we were clear we had ordered! We did receive an aplogy, see above |

I asked for a double room and was given a twin. Don't really like sleeping in a single bed which is why I booked a double. I was paying for the room irrespective of being a single person. I paid on leaving but had assumed that you had taken the payment from me already. There was a slight confusion over this. |

It's a beautiful, Regency hotel with gorgeous rooms and drawing room, very relaxing and friendly atmosphere and family run- the opposite of a modern, impersonal huge hotel- which is what I loved about it. We were also blown away by the architecture of the hotel and the proportions of the downstairs rooms, very romantic. The breakfast time was too busy for the family I thnk, so we had to wait- it was amazing in quality though, with fresh fruit and friendly service, so we didn't mind but then we weren't in a hurry- it would really have mattered if we were I guess! |
