This has been a terrible experience, the room was very small (8'/8'), there was no room to move in the room, it was so small that the bed had to be located against the wall , the bathroom was even smaller (2.5'/2.5'), a normal size person would not fit into the shower, my wife had to wait for me to finish showering before can go to use the toilet !! The room insulation was so thin that you could hear next room conversation and footsteps from upstairs . I do not know whom ever gave them 3 stars at ($300.00 a night it was a joke), should have been 1 star max. I'm planning to put this comments all over the net for them and you to stop selling the rooms under 3 starts. Big zero, especially for the amount they've charged us.

I stayed in Bloomsbury, London at the Marbledon Court Hotel for 1 week. The staff is fantastic, helpful, pleasant and efficient. The complimentary English breakfast was delicious and gigantic. It is convenient to 3 underground stops, making sightseeing easy and cheap. We took the underground from the Marbledon to Heathrow in 45 minutes, no transfers needed, directly to our terminal. The room was super clean, bathroom small, and free, fast WIFI. Prices for hotels in London are very $$$$. The Marbledon was $$. I highly recommend the Marbledon.

Staff on reception were very helpful, however breakfast staff difficult to communicate with due to language barrier Room clean and tidy Great location for all stations Room and wardrobe storage small Double bed hard against wall to side and wardrobe to end making person on inside climb over other person Window catch broken, window definitely needed to be open for ventialtion as room was so small therefore blowing open all night Shower cubicle from the dark ages ie curtain round a trough. Fixed shower head out of wall fit for a midget and no thermostatic control on shower unit. Breakfast poor. Stayed in Carlton hotel round the corner 4 weeks prior gets lesser rating on booking.com site but ten times better!!!!! for the same price

The room was clean. The breakfast room was airy and the food ok. The mattress was firm. My room on the back side was quiet. The location is convenient to King's Cross. The shower stall is too small so the water gets all over the floor. The room is very small.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I felt comfortable as a single female traveller. It was very convenient for me as it was close to trains and buses and close to food and drink outlets. Rooms are a little small.

Friendly and helpful staff, quality of included breakfast was better than I was expecting. Room was clean and tidy. Wifi. Room was realtively small, being central London, but was bigger than I was expecting (I've had smaller) so was very happy with it. Would stay again. Walls are very thin. People knocking on other doors sound like they are kocking on yours. Slept wiht my airplane earplugs in.

I would give the hotel 10 out of 10. The main receptionist was lovely and couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Bedrooms well decorated and very quiet. Wonderful stay! The only downside was the shower made a mess as there was only a shower curtain and owing to space went everywhere but was always cleaned spotlessly each day.

It is near underground and the railway station which I need to go next day. That is why I chose the hotel. I checked late at night, the staff is still welcoming me. It is quiet though in the city centre. Breakfast location is excellent though I have little time to enjoy. The start of breakfast is too late, maybe my leave time is too early. The bath space is too small, I don't think a big size body could fit in. My room is a singl room. The bed is big enough for my mini size body. The lift is very very old. Of course better than no lift. I checked in very late, so the hotel deduct my payment from my credit card. The next day, I want to pay in cash, they said it was not acceptable. Credit card payment deducted. Is this the policy?

The position was excellent, a short 5min walk from St Pancras station & Kings Cross metro. All staff were very helpful and friendly. 24 hour reception. Breakfast very good. Rooms clean and tidy a bit on the small side, but was fine for us. Tea & coffee and biscuits in our room. Wi Fi was good in our room. Would definitely stay here again. The shower curtain clings to you, whilst in the shower.

For £65 b&b, then Mabledone Court ticks all the boxes you would expect to be ticked. It's not the Radisson or even a Novotel in terms of modernness or luxury, but it's absolutely fine for a one night stopover if you're working in north/central London For the price, it's hard to criticise anything. Breakfast could be bigger, the rooms/bathroom larger and the lift could be more modern, but for the price you cannot complain

Proximity to the st pancras station + clean. Service at reception ok. Breakfast was quiet disapointing as expected for a "traditionnal" english breakfast the room was EXTREMELY small and tiny. No space to walk around the bed and very claustrophobic!!!!! The pictures were probably the ones from a suite as we had nothing like that.

Fantastic to be close to the station. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Bed was too small as it was a double as no twins left however it was more like a 3/4 and although we are good friends was a little too snug.

“Bed was clean and comfortable, liked being able to open window. Tea and coffee supplied, -appreciated. Breakfast good, except only one toaster and a queue of 4/5 people all the time to make their toast. Not good if you are catching a train etc.. Liked the fact there was a night receptionist, felt safer, and the receptionists were both very helpful..The location was great only a short walk to station, and the pub on the corner did a good meal at reasonable price.” Eva, Pembroke Dock |
